Hosting games, does not always mean that your ports are not working. Perhaps you have a firewall blocking people from connecting to your computer VIA StarCraft here are some steps you can take to allow hosting of starcraft games. ( If this is not exact [ it may vary with internet protection ] the visit www.blizzard.com ) And visit the help page there:

1. Open your internet protection application ex, Norton anti virus

2. Look for somthing like " Options " or " General rules / Program exceptions "

3. When you find it click on it, And a list of programs and or rules will appear

4. Press " allow in/out connections "

5. Press continue

6. Press " Allow any computer "

7. Press continue8. Now fill this out:

9. click " Add " And find starcraft, Then continue and allow 6112-6119 starcraft ports UPD/TCP also

Once completed, it may ask you if you would to have a log Otional

Now try to host starcraft games, If it still dosnt work, follow these steps:

1. click start

2. Click control panel

3. Press " Classic view ( Windows xp/vista ) "

4. find " Windows firewall "

5. If it is on, A) Turn it off if you have a decent internet protection ( 2 firewalls may conflict each other ) b) Go to " exceptions " and follow steps in part 1 step 9.

If all fails you can contact me via email/ or gousgamers.net

There is no need to create a new name in your routers painel or something.

I just eddited the already existing StarCraft and added it up to my local device(this computer).

6112 , 6119 and 4000 were dafault.

I was having troube because I was creating a new entry, and It would just need to be edited (Starcraft).
