hmm i remember ive had this problem for years switching isp's many times n stuff.

recently i found hwo to to create games only, and not join.. if i joined with 3 and more people in a game there was huge lag, although a friend helped me open some ports etc and all was fixed, i also helped many friends and it worked for them, but since i had some wierd problems with internet, my dad done master reset on router, and when i put same port configurations in, it doesnt work again :/

im really angry again! but im trying alot to fix it :|

so does anyone have any idea on how to join games instead of create?

ok nvm, after collecting my own info, info from here, and from other things, i now fixed it ^^

anyway, i wont post what i had before, its not important, but now what i have is:

tcp + udp = 1 - 65534
tcp + udp = 6881 - 6889
tcp + udp = 6112 - 6119
tcp + udp = 4000 - 4000
tcp + udp = 1119 - 1120

the "tcp + udp" means that apply for both, and not just "TCP" or "UDP".. make sure is both.

also make sure windows firewall is off.

my router also comes with built in firewall, so disable this if you have one.

note: there is 1 minor problem.. it connects really slow to bnet at times, although u still have fast ping, and web-sites load really REALLY slow, which of course is incredibly annoying. but my router comes with a setting that will save port settings and you can choose wether to enable them or disable. maybe this could be same case for you

i dont mind much anyway, cos im usually sitting on pc playing bw, and then with laptop next to me listining to music, msn, and web sites ^^

i *think* this will work for people, and i hope too, because i realise how it can be. although for the networking stuff with like 3pc's trying to game, i dono how to fix that, sorry. could still try anyway :/

try it and let me know how it goes! if it works i should win nobel peice prize for BW !!! :D

Does this include wireless adaptors or just wireless routers? Alot of people have told me that even with forwarded ports they still are unable to create games due to their wireless adaptor.

Why cant blizzard just fix this problem manualy? I mean if this many people are having these problems then will this same problem carry over to starcraft 2? I havent heard about anyone who plays wc3 or any other blizzard game for that matter haveing this problem. If anyone can get in contact with anyone who works for blizzard please if they dont know already notify them of this problem and have them explain why they cant change a setting or something on SCBW to fix this retarded problem. ive seriously tried everything possible and ive had this problem for like 2 years. Honestly the only thing that seems to work for me is a dial up service which is honesty the gayest thing ever. Im not useing one know but i know that when i had dial up it all worked fine surprisingly.

Well i hav another tip guys.

When u open the page of u modem (configurations) and u go to Virtual Servers Setup and click add u will see this

Server Name:
Select a Service:
Custom Service:
Server IP Address:

In "Select Service" if u click him u will see a list of games and internet servers, and u will choose "Blizzard Battle.net" and the ports will appear then u only need to click on "ADD" and rdy. Remember copy u IP Address.

The ports are:

Well that happens with me. Comtrend CT-5621C.

I've already forwarded ports and I have 5 MB internet which should be enough... I have closed the firewall and in the chat it shows my latency as green 1 arrow... but when the game begin I make a lot of lags and when I download maps it takes a very long time... do you have any idea why and how I can change it?
