    i;ve recently seen a 2x2 rep (which has been posted in reps section) and i saw terran making lots of ghosts. I wonder if there's any good out of ghosts excet for nuke. They can cloack, but their firepower is similar/worse than rines. I want to know what are ghosts good for :D

    They are good for locking down capital ships and breaking stalemates with nukes. Most people use them only becouse they're cool.

    Well, I use them if needed vs a overmassed p, if timing is correct, you just use lockdown on goons, so units can't enter/leave base =)

    Well, depending on which stat you look at, either 1525 or 75045 people have figured out how to register for and play on ICCup. Which means, some way or other, I'm noobing out big time, but I can't figure it out. I installed the server, made an account, and activated it, but if I try to log in, I'm just told my password is wrong. What step am I missing?!

    Press "forgot password" and I think your pass will be sent to your email. Copy paste, insert. Most likely you just miss spelled your pass or something I would guess...

    Well, I'm fairly sure I've got my user name and password right, I have no problems logging onto the iccup website, but when I go to the abyss gateway of battle.net I can't log in. The "Recover Password" button promises to send me my password, but doesn't.

    I'm operating under the belief that the account I registered on the iccup website transfers to the battle.net abyss gateway. This belief was reinforced when I found that it's impossible to register new accounts from the battle.net login page (in starcraft). Sorry to make you guys answer such stupid questions, but I'm stuck...

    ah, thought you could not access the site. I suggest you take it up on ICCup's own forum or contact an admin there.

    And yes, the account you make on the site is (or should be) playable on the server

    i think that understanding each match up should come after around a month of playing... It took me around a year and a half to understand pvz ... Now I not only have more fun playing it but I win every public game I play (PUBLIC...average players, vs known players ofc I'll lose ^^) Also it will help you understand why you've lost...

    Understanding starcraft is a long road to walk, while you might get a bit of it quite quickly you'll never understand all of it.

    After a month? No way... then you don't understand the MU, then you just know how it's supposed to look like. You know basics like lurker+ling vs terran and lurker contain in zvp.. and muttaling in zvz. Little more. Real understanding takes much more time.

    And if you win every game, it's time for you to play ladder lol ^^

    I read this "guide" like 4 months ago (restarted playing back then), and it helped me out a LOT... still a noobling, but at least I'm not one of those people who have 800 UMS/Fastest/BGH games and can't handle anything... >_< Really good advice for beginners there. Not overloaded with too much details and gets you started. I still had that period of 40 loses in a row, oh, that was ugly... Just gotta remember one thing, losing is training, and winning is just, well, winning. :D

    Sorry for thread necromancy if I'm not supposed to reply here, I'm first time on this forum and I feel a bit scared. :O

    I keep on losing. When I start to beat people, they leave me alone and I have to find another higher level player ;;
