You didn't write what Gundam push means...
It's a terran strat used mainly against toss: You must build rax and train 3-4 rines and also build 2 factories (one after another). Addon the first factory and build a vulture in the second factory asap. When the addon is finished - research vulture mines and build tank. After that you should send those 3-4 rines, tank (research Siege mode when possible while producing vultures/tanks from both facs), 1-4 SCV, Vultures to the enemy ramp and mine the passage. After this you should build a bunker for those rines, few missile turrets, send tanks with siege mode...- improvise...
I improvised this strat a bit, couse i'm a toss player and only used this with Terran long time ago. I recommend searching for V-gundam replays - it's his fav strat

Just wondering.
How long has it taken most of the players to actually start to win consistently?
Just wondering (my records nothing, but I've been playing a lot the past 2.5 weeks or so and my records something like 17-102. Almost all are terran.
I'm watching my replays and I know why I lose, but I just can't seem to find a way to fix that problem without creating two more.

2.5 weeks, that's nothing :P

depending on your talent, if you got practise partners or a teacher... with a teacher and good partners and some talent.. I'd say it would take you at least a month. At least. Without, two or three perhaps..

I have big problem now, when i make 1 vs 1 LT noob game, i win all games, but when i make normal game, and someone good join i lose all the games, where can decent players that are willing to test with noobs be found.
Because i must improve my game, so i can play, my macro is awfull, its ok at start, but in late game, i just throw to much time on microing, and vs all normal players, i start pushing them(i play zergs btw) and i start making expos and they dont, because i am constantly atacking, but in some moments, they just manage to defend main base, they counter atack me, and because i spend to much time atacking them, when they come to my base, all i have is my hatches and 2000+ minerals, and coupple of units i made during pauses in atacks :(
Guess, i just need to work much on micro/macroing in same time

then stop playing 1v1 noobs. you will improve a lot faster by playing normal games, even if you lose a lot of them. It's better practise playing better players. And winning all games is the wrong way to be good.

Yes ofc, and thats not my goal, but from games with good players i didnt learn anything too, they just finish to fast, and whole game i am just trying to do more things then i am capable to do, and it finish quite messy, so i dont know how to find some midlle, but ok i will listen your advice and just continue playing vs better players hoping with time i will learn how to defend, and later maybe even win some games :P

good ^^ that means you know what you are suposed to do, now you just need to practise the mechanics to make you able to do it. Just keep getting owned and eventually it will stick.

And you will lose a lot now, again, but just don't give up!

Well i was afriad of this, i finaly started doing things litlle better, macroing and harassing opponent at same time, but when templars with storm come, its just devastating to me, pls tell me whats best way to fight vs storm, cuz few games allready, i am in better position( i am expanding, destroying opp expo, doing some drops, got whole game in control, have more then double units) but i just have so hard time playing around storm, even if i completly abandon macro, because at that point all i need is to do final strike, and even with all microing, and running with muta/lings around his army, they always have enough storms to finish majority of my units, and i recover easy cuz i hold good part of map, and again same story when i try to atack, some1 pls tell me how to fight vs storm :(

assuming you are talking about storm in open field battles: flanking. avoid clumping your units, but make them attack from ALL directions, meaning the storm will only cover one or two units at a time. Also, don't make pure hydras, pure lings, or pure muttas. Only having one type of fighter (ranged or melee) makes them easy targets. Having two types of units, lings and hydras for example, will give you two lines of fire and that will spread your units even more and make it harder for storm.

Muttalisks can generally sweep above protoss armies, picking off templars, as long as you avoid archons. Just make sure they are never still but always moving. Only stop slightly RIGHT ON TOP of his army to pick of a HT or two (on top so that he will storm his own units if he can pull off a storm) and then just move away.

So, spread your units before the actual battle, put them in positions so they can attack from several different directions. This will make you able to avoid clumping, which is death when facing storms. Also, use different kinds of units (melee and ranged) to further spread your units out.

In late game ultras are also great since they can take several storms without dying.

I am using mixed units, but guess i shoud try with atacking from more then one-two side, and yeah, i could try 1st to kill few templars with mutas.
TY very much on your answers, you are very helpfull.
BTW whats best answer for river drop- few sunken in base?

Have to disagree about the apm thing
I gave myself 30 days and during them I went from 120 average until 280 average
Now I got 260 average with no unnecessary actions except for the first 2 minutes, ofc...
So my advice is if you want to raise apm, give urself a time to only do this.

I have about a 40% win on public bnet (east) games I have learned the bos for Zerg. But i still need help with macro and timing and speed. Its getting frustrating to me because i have not been able to find a teacher. I try to join a good clan to maybe learn some things from a skilled player. But they always need ranks. I have tried to get one but with my skills i can barely get past D+. I need a Teacher to show me what im doing wrong. Point out the major things to work on. Becuase i am at a point where i dont do stupid mistakes like getting killed from one M&M drop or cannon blocked behind mins, etc. I need someone to help me with my game so i can do well in the private servers and maybe get a clan after that. If someone will you can post here. Or maybe mattias could maybe make an entire thread about teachers for teaching and students for learning?

The best advice is to not only save and analayze your replays, but get a teacher who will analyze your replays with you. That's what I have been doing and I've improved a great deal.

Also, I agree when you say don't get caught up with APM. But not because APM means nothing like a lot of people will say, but because you just don't need to worry about it at a beginner level. You'll end up spamming. APM will come naturally, you'll realize that your APM will increase as you improve since you are not as idle as you used to be.

And yea, there should be a sticky for users to find mentors.

I'm having problems with all 3 races and i simply can't find a way to solve them:

1) versus zerg: i have no idea how to scout with all those ovies around and even if i manage to fly above his base with a sair, i don't know what he's up to
2) versus toss: scouting is ok, just don't know when to expand and sometimes build too little gates :(
3) versus terran: i have problems with vultures and mines, but if i manage to block his ramp at the beginning, i usually win. Cloaked wraiths are also hard to deal with as they scan my obs and kill it :(

Could someone help me solve my problems?

And other few questions:

Is it possible to do manner pylon, build assim on his gas, build pylon on his ramp to prevent wall-in or build pylon near his factory to hold his machine shop IF i don't find him first on 3/4 places maps?
How do i stop a mix of archons and zeals?
How do i counter a 2 gate zealot rush?

1. Protoss generally has problems scouting zerg, but keep your first scouting probe alive as long as possible and see as much as you can. If you get a cors over his bas you should know 100% what he is up to. If you don't, you simply need more practise on how to read what you see and what it means. Your problem is not the scouting then, but the understanding of the game.
2. You build too few gates. GOOD. You know your mistake, now you just need to practise to fix it. When to expand is another matter and is very much timing based and that comes from many games and/or watching many replays. The timings will come naturally to you later on, but for you need to practise.
3. Vultures and mines? I assume backed up by tanks? Goons+zealots.. I can't really help you. Sounds like you simply need more practise. And wraiths should be np since goons would eat them alive. Just make sure to micro away the obs and let the goons fire away.

Dunno about the pylon prison and manner pylon etc since I don't know much about pvt timings. But if you see a gas that is not taken, take it. If you get past his wall, you can always use pylons to block stuff, unless he is going FD terran and got rines. If you get an opportunity, you do it. Otherwise you don't. So it doesn't matter.

Archon zeal? Archons should never be used in pvp.. they should be easily owned by goons, and then there's only zealots left. Use a proper PvP mix of Goons, zeals and hts or reavers.

You defend and tech to goons and whatever tech you want after that and own him with superiour tech. Add a shield battery at your ramp and micro like crazy with zealots and probes if necessary.

This thread is great, but it seems that whenever i get on bnet (i always play on u.s. east) practically all the games are UMS/fastest/moneymaps/team games/laggy koreans. Where can i find more 1v1 matchups, preferably with some kind of ranking system to let me know an approximate skill level of my opponents?

iccup is good place to find similar skill

Also, depending on your skill, you can find a channel or clan where there are some active people that might be good games for you. Another thing to do is join 1v1orobs games and then ask if anyone there wants to mass games.
