The third instance of the International StarLeague will start on February, 18th, with Altitude being the main sponsor of this $2500 season.

Barely more than a week until the first of seven 64-man qualifiers start, each of the qualifiers promoting eight players to the next stage.
After the qualifiers the groupstage will take place, with a total of 56 players, letting only 28 players out of its wings.
Following this is the round of thirty-two, where four invites come in to full up the remaining four spots. While the round of 32 is split over two weeks, the rest of the rounds get played week by week, until there are only eight players left.
After the round of eight come the semifinals, together with a 5th-8th place decider via a round robin.
This step is required as the massive $2500 prizepool is split between the top eight players, with the first placed taking a total of $1000 home while the eigth still gets $75.

iCCup Attack! is a show for everyone: on December, 29 at 23:00 CET you should join the channel "Attack!" on the iCCup Server. You will find the hero, the organizers and the casters idling there. Everyone of you is able to challenge the top player to a 1on1. While he plays you the casters are going to interview and distract him — and may introduce handicaps to make it fair, if the gap is too big.

It will be hosted by iCCup, Pholon, Quint and SethGecko and the event will be casted by Sayle and Manifesto7.

Video by Dan1870220133262

With two more additions to the current playerpool for the groupstage, we are finally ready to enter the groupstage of the $100 GosuCup Season 1.
The groupstage will leave 8 of the 12 players for the next round, which will also introduce the newest ProLeague maps into the map pool.

The groups are containing 3 players, where each player will face each other once in a best of three, with each group having a different starting map. Each individual game counts as a point, so losing 1-2 still gives you a point, while 0-2 does not.
The two players with the most wins per group will advance, in case of a tie there will be a second round of best of three, in case of a repetive tie, the games will be reduced to best of one in the next repeat.
As usual the playing time is scheduled...

Apparently Tasteless has this job since 4 years already and he is casting together with Jason Lee on a weekly BroodWar cast over at Arirang TV.

You can find the latest episode in their e-Sports show video on demand section.
In order to watch those VOD's you need to register (valid E-mail address for varification) and have the Windows Media Player plugin, which is available for FireFox over here.

The show airs every Thursday and there is also a schedule on the website.
The casted games are already about 2 years old, the cast however is apparently only very few weeks old.

The fifth out of six qualifiers has finished with a postponed second semi finale last night. This means we are only in need of two more players to go into the next rounds, but first see who managed to qualify this week, the first Protoss made it in!

In the fifth qualifier of the GosuCup Season 1 we finally found the first Protoss player for the group stages. Hopefully we can find at least yet another Protoss next week to throw into the mix of mainly Zergs and a couple of Terran players.
The group stage will be played the week after the sixth qualifier with twelve players in it, divided into 4 groups à 3 players and every player playing the other two in a best of three with each individual win giving 1 point. Losing 1-2 compared to 0-2 is pretty good here.

It has been a long time since the last ProLeague season, and many have been waiting impatiently for the next one to come. Fortunately, we can reveal that it will start on the 26th of November. Expect many changes!

On the 19th of November, KeSPA announced that the next ProLeague season will kick off on Saturday, November 26th. This was anticipated by many eSports fans all over the world.

However, the 11-12 ProLeague season will be very different from the previous ones. The biggest changes include: reducing the number of "play-days" in a week (from 5 to 4), best-of-5 format instead of best-of-7 format, abolishment of ace matches and winner's league and revival of the first/second half leagues.

OGN television will also be the sole broadcaster of the ProLeague matches due to the impending closure of the MBCGame channel.
