Almost every year, there is at least one country that's not able to join the WCG for the StarCraft tournament. This year Spain got some bad news, only a couple of weeks before the grand final in Seattle, USA.
Not that many days ago the main sponsor for World Cyber Games in Spain, Samsung, announced that they will pull out of their sponsorship. With a lot less money, WCG Spain had to reduce their WCG participation to Counter-Strike 1.6 and FIFA Football 2007.
All this being said, the StarCraft players of Spain are now trying to fund sponsors who are willing to help out. Spain usually has three players playing in the Brood War tournament at WCG, but now it seems there might be none this year.
