GosuGamers had some technical problems over the weekend with our "brain server" in Stockholm. Problems resolved but the "backbone server" is still under pressure.
GosuGamers.net were attacked by spam bots, sending a massive amount of random e-mails to random addresses which made our server load heavy and our technicians shut the server down several times to resolve the problems.
At around 23.00 CET late Sunday night, we found the reason and blocked the hosts of the spam bots.
Backbone remains offline
Our backbone server, hosted by FDC Servers, was suspended due to a misunderstanding in the communication between our backbone operator
Heaven and FDC Servers. If and when the server will be online again is as of today still unclear as we are looking into alternative solutions for our files. Until solved, we apologize for the fact that our replays, files section and certain images will remain unavailable. Thanks for your patience!
