[s]interview[/s]

Jonathan Walsh, aka FrozenArbiter / PltO, just beat SataNik, something only 28% out of 233 persons believed he could. Another upset is a fact and GosuGamers serve you with a fresh interview.

Jonathan Walsh is ranked #31 in the Gosu Gamers international ranking, second best Swede. A budding player who says his motivation and time is the key to his success and that if he gets lucky, he can qualify in AmeriCup's second season.

Despite from being a frequent TeamLiquid.net poster with more than 16,000 posts, Jonathan has also made himself a name as PltO when participating in AmeriCup 2. Last week, he managed to defeat Russia Ex and minutes ago, he beat Greece SataNik.
- I didn't really expect to win vs either of them, he tells GosuGamers.
Jonathan explains how Canada Testie helped him to practice for the matches, and that the tip to build more probes was extremly helpful.
- Without his advice I'd have lost 0-2 I'm almost certain.
As the match versus SataNik began, 62712 minerals were put on stake as Jonathan pulled something that worked very well:
- After seeing how [SataNik] played I decided reavers would be very helpful vs his style (which is basically mass units and upgrades). I wanted to negate the power of 3-3 by mass killing power.

45 games in three days

With 45 games played on Rush Hour in three days, as preparation for his match, Jonathan agrees that his motivation and time is what gives him the good chances of winning.
- I was lacking motivation for a while just after the summer but around WCG time I really got it back in a big way.

About his chances in AmeriCup 2, Jonathan regrets that he lost to Spain Squall.
- Not because he's a bad player, he's good, but the maps were the best I'm gonna get all tournament.
He now needs some luck if Squall loses to another player, since he believes his chances versus United Kingdom MidiaN in round six are "very, very small".
- I really don't know how good zelotito/stinger are.. But I think zelotito beat fisheye recently in the madrid tournament? He probably has one hell of a PvP if he did.

As our interview got into topics such as the Swedish National Team, Jonathan said he would most likely join if he got an invitation. He rates himself as top five.
- I think there's a bunch of people at a similiar level.

Jonathan was additionally nominated in the category 2005's most mannered with the reason: "Sharing his knowledge at TL.net and staying close to the ground.".
- I'm glad I'm nominated and that people perceive me as being mannered!
