Over the weekend the BW4ever 7x NationCup has entered into the second phase, or Play Day number 2 as BW4ever refers to it. With bringing of new phases comes new matches, results, and last but not the bit least, replays.
Over the weekend four national battles took place. During the three battles tension arose, and fighting flared, but that is what you would expect from a nation war, right? We none the less the wars raged on whether someone liked it or not.
The first battle to be finished was the Belarus and Austria nation war. The powerhouse for Belarus, LoWeLy[PnD], was present and won his 1 versus 1 and 2 versus 2 matches.
BelarusAustria7-0(14-1)1on1 OneMoreLose> TiQ.GGoon.2-0 HuNTeR[PnD]> bioboyAT2-1 Taison> fanta[Rn]2-0 LoWeLy[PnD]> TiQ.MoRt.2-0 HappyBirthDay[t21Den> xXxthesame2-0 2on2 LoWeLy[PnD] OneMoreLose> bioboyAT TiQ.GGoon.2-0 HappyBirthDay[t21Den fAke.VirGo> bioboyAT fanta[Rn]2-0 |
As you can tell only bioboyAT was able to receive one win, which was not a help at all. The Austrian team must play stronger next phase in order to be able to compete in the finals.
Next match to be completed for the BW4ever 7x NationCup was the Czech Republic versus Greece match. The Czech's made sure to bring out all the stops as both Destroyer and Dark_Caleb were present in the strong finish over Greece.

Unlike the Austrian team, the Greeks failed to get even a single victory. If Greece plans to push forward in this NationCup they must do something different because they are not getting a lot done with what they have set as of now.
The third out of four matches was between the Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine's Protoss king, WhiteRa[pG] has returned to the Ukraine national team to help fight off the enemies at hand. WhiteRa[pG]'s return did not help though as the Ukraine fell to mother Russia.

Ex)Rif, Dt.Pomi[S2], Bruce, and 3d.creAtiv came up with not just big wins, but giant wins to help Russia overcome the Ukraine. Both teams played well and may meet again soon.
The last match of the weekend was the Germany versus Chile match. This match was highly anticipated by myself as Chile could win versus one of the strongest Brood War nations. The war has been completed and with that said, here are the results.

The war was a nail biter through and through. Germany suffered a loss. Chile came to the nation war with the will to win, and the passion. Germany did not want it as much as Chile, so it would seem. None the less it was a great war and I will be looking forward to those replays.
