SEn: The transition back was not easy

When caught up by Fragster, Yang Chia "SEn" Cheng reveals the transition back to StarCraft: Brood War was hard, and that he has invested every spare time into StarCraft 2.

8ded1fbfc1afcc1d70b52d9229557efd600905d729a9e4a9b8cedd20c2.jpg - "The transition back to Brood War was not easy, as the hotkeys are completely different in the both games. StarCraft 2 is relatively easy because you only need 100-150 APM to keep up front, while in StarCraft: Brood War you need more than 200 APM," says SEn. "The transitioned was also hampered by the fact that I find more joy in StarCraft 2 right now."

The Taiwanese Zerg says he did not prepare at all this year due to the full focus on StarCraft 2.

- "All of my friends from StarCraft: Brood War have stopped playing, hence I found it very difficult to find a suitable training partner," says SEn, and laughs: "Therefore, the computer AI was my training partner!"

His realistic goals for the tournament is passing the group stage, and he hopes that his opponents are in a similar position as himself when it comes to the practice.

It seems most players are united in predicting Flash as the winner, as SEn mentions the Terran. "The guy is crazy, a really good player."

If he had to choose in the upcoming year if both StarCraft: Brood War and StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty were in World Cyber Games, he would pick StarCraft 2, easily.

SEn enters the tournament against group stage opponent Oleksii "White-Ra" Krupnyk.
