e-Stars Seoul 2010 attendees revealed

The list of the six players attending the event is now official. The best three players from both zones will fight by the rule book in the middle of August, without China's best Orc Weiliang ‘Fly100%’ Lu.

Eight days ago, the public voting was concluded seeing Xiaofeng ‘Sky’ Li, Weiliang ‘Fly100%’ Lu and Jang ‘Moon’ JaeHo topping the Eastern pool while Manuel ‘Grubby’ Schenkhuizen, Dmitry ‘Happy’ Kostin and Dennis ‘HasuObs’ Schneider were leading in the Western side. This fanvote represented 50% of the process. The other 50% was distributed between the e-Stars Committee decision (20%) and the results in the recent major events (30%).

Taking into consideration the last point in the process, the German player HasuObs and the Chinese Orc player Fly100% couldn’t make it to the global finals. The latter, despite being crowned G-League champion lately couldn't make it. Same for HasuObs, whose recent win at EPS wasn’t enough to get him a spot. June ‘Lyn’ Park and Daniel ‘XlorD’ Spenst were respectively chosen instead.

Reigning champion Grubby will have to defend his title starting from Friday August 13. The event will last all the weekend to end on Sunday the 15th.
