ToT close to toppling Fnatic

FnaticMSI continues to lead the standings after a very close encounter with Templars of Twilight during the 3rd matchday. Strong performances from ToT)ret(, ToT)AeriAls, and the always powerful 2v2 team of ToT)XiaOzi( and ToT)LJT( brought the clanwar to an ACE MATCH, where Fnatic.Never was able to defend his team's pole position. Unfortunately, there were some issues with lag from the Chinese side, which caused ToT)Mondragon( to sit out of any games.

There is only a 1 point spread between the top four teams, which are closely followed by three teams tied for 5th. With 6 matchdays remaining, it is uncertain who will gather the points necessary to enter the final tournament, although FnaticMSI seems to be a strong favorite to win group play. Season 1 runner up Lzuruha stands at last place, due to management problems that led to a walkover loss to ESC in matchday 3.

Matchday 4 brings us a rematch between foreign scene rivals ToT and ESC. The last encounter saw ESC narrowly taking home a win, but recent results vs Fnatic suggest ToT is the stronger of the two teams. Another clanwar to take note of is Fnatic vs LRM. Will the Spanish team prove to show some upsets and cost Fnatic points it needs to remain first? These are clanwars which will definitely bring close and exciting games.

Another team to take note of is American eXpertise. After 3 matchdays, they enjoy a comfortable 4th place position thanks to beating mTw and taking games from ZZZ. However, strong performances against LRM and Sky.G will be needed to better secure their place. All replays, with a few exceptions, are available individually or as a replay pack from the ESI website!

gj ret and Aerials. :D
Next time more luck ToT.
Poor that Chinese always lag. Without lag and with Mondragon ToT > fnatic...
But this will never happen.

Statements from Mondragon on ToT website:

"it was laggy a lot, and by a lot, I mean shitloads!"

"I will never deal with chinese lag again. I was there, but for sure I'm not gonna bother with it anymore ^^ I know it's always lagging, so why would I bother"

But nice league, only streams are missing!
I wanna see ToT vs ESC streamed! :O With mogulus it was never easier than now to set up a stream.

Mondragon's a crybaby. He acts like he's a professional player that is making so much money and demands to play in a perfect environment. He's probably the reason for his team's loss. Reality check: This is a free tournament to enter, have some fun and challenge and give your fans some entertainment. What do you lose by playing 1 series with some lag?!??

If you're better than the other player, lag isn't going to stop you from winning. Besides, only retards don't know how to cope with lag. You get in the game, feel the lag, then move your units a bit earlier than usual. So fucking easy. Plus, they act like the lag is worse than on Battle.net. Battle.net is horrible, and it's still reasonably playable.

???? So basically you're saying people that never play in lag have to suffer and play against people that are alot more comfortable in lag. Right off the bat your focus is thrown because you can't even move and micro the same way you normally would because of the delays...

Makes sense, someone send this guy an invite, he's a genius.

#25 ToT)Aerials( 3 years ago
And no he isn't the reason we lost, like that really old cliche saying goes, There's no I in team. We win as a team and lose as a team.

#26 Ryu. 3 years ago
But there is an I in Aerials.

#23 notice that you are the only one saying that lag doesn't affect gameplay... It must really be an unfortunate coincidence that you're chinese like them :o

1. practice on laggy games so you don't suck.
2. get better
3. stop complaining about lag.
4. ???
5. [pro]fit!

nice comments by the chinese ppl here "everyone should suffer because our internet sucks" ... great idea
It´s like when i go to Dissy and tell him "Hey play vs me but use just one hand because otherwise i never could win vs you"

shouldn´t it be rather "get better internet to not pain the rest"? If not possible do not play...

its funny how all the chinese are posting here, hey maybe you should stop buying your enet from walmart and then we all can be happy, stfu, do korean progamers play in lag ? no
do foreigners train in constant lag?
no
so stfu.

#23, #28 or how about you all unite and make your government bend over and give you proper human rights, freedom of expression and communication with the rest of the world; thus eliminating lag.
1
#32 ericyang 3 years ago
#31 its not about human rights, freedom or politics...
china do have a national firewall called The Great Firewall, the government can ban some IPs directly instead of making lag if they really want.
i think its due to the rapid rise of internet users and the bottleneck of international access point, now there are more than 0.3 billion enet users in china and the number is still growing every day.

#28 are you serious right now? LMFAO! "purposely play in shitty coniditions so you get used to it, but don't use the right to complain about lag!, WHAT ARE RULES FOR ANYWAYS????"

#26 you are very wise sir.

Wait a minute... Are those Chinese guys for real? Maybe its normal in yourcountry to play with a handicap, but it isnt here. You tell your soccerplayers to play too when they are injured? Idiots.
