The two opening weeks have flown by and a couple of teams are already establishing themselves in the top of the food chain, most notably mTW and ex-MYM team ESC.ICY-BOX.

The team-formerly-known-as-MYM seem to be comfortable in their new home at ESC, defeating both ToT and NrT with a 4-1 score and is currently in second place. Lying in third place is currently team RoX, who dominated NrT in the first week with a 5-0 win. Their second week results against PurE are not in yet, so we shall see exactly how the Russians arrange themselves in the top three.
Week 2 | ||
Team | vs | Team |
RoX | 0:0 | PurE |
St | 0:5 | mTw |
eXpertise | 0:3 | LRM |
ESC.ICY-BOX | 4:1 | NrT |
NiceAff | 2:2 | ToT |
As mentioned earlier, quite a few results have yet to come in so this table is not amazingly informative just yet. The two top teams show that they are truly top teams by their overwhelming victories against their opponents, St and NrT. Worth noting is that RoX is in a very good position to overtake both mTw and ESC.ICE-BOX, should they go 5:0 this week as well. The NiceAff vs ToT game is as close as can be, with only the 2v2 remaining to decide the match. eXpertise seem to be struggling in their match against LRM, having dropped three 1v1 games so far, although they can redeem themselves somewhat still in the 2v2 and the remaining 1v1. Here are the detailed match results:
eXpertise. vs LRM | ||

AngeL]eX[[ | 0:2 | LRM)Sweeper |
Tear[LighT] Sun[LighT] | 0:0 | freeslot freeslot |
Looking good all around for LRM, with 2:0 wins wherever wins are noted. A look in the forums seem to suggest that OctZerg won his match 2:0 as well, but the results have not been officially updated just yet. The fate of the 2v2 is as of yet unclear, but the results should surface soon.
NiceAff. vs ToT | ||

NiceAff-HeMe | 0:2 | ToT)ret( |

NiceAff-gOgna | 2:1 | ToT)Naugrim( |
NiceAff-gOgna NiceAff-Z-BoY | 0:0 | freeslot freeslot |
A very close match indeed, two of ToT's heavy hitters, ret and SquaLL, both pull their load with 2:0 wins while Casper handily beat XiaOzI and gOgna managed to squeeze by Naugrim with a 2:1 win. As for the 2v2, the forum suggests that XiaOzI and Mondragon managed to pull out a win, but the results aren't yet official and the score remains 2:2 as of this moment.

St)Klyaksa( | 0:2 | mTw.Pidgin |
St)akuna St.orM | 0:2 | mTw.jae mTw.kAra |
Not much to say about this match, an absolute thrashing delivered by mTw. 2:0 wins throughout the entire match sends St reeling and shows exactly why mTw currently top the league. A good showing by mTw and a wakeup call for St.
ESC.ICE-BOX vs NrT | ||
Player | Score | Player |
MYM.Yoon | 0:2 | NrT.Secterran |

MYM.Arew | 2:0 | NrT.FlaF |
MYM.White-Ra MYM.Strelok | 2:0 | NrT.Secterran NrT.Septerran |
Another display of team dominance, although the ESC players are seen here wearing the wrong clan tags. Secterran managed to claim a game from Yoon, ensuring that Yoon is put on toilet-cleaning duty for his team and saving NrT from being swept, but an overwhelming victory for ESC nonetheless.
RoX vs PurE
PurE seems to be curiously absent, also missing their game last week. Unless they surface soon it would seem RoX will get a walkover win, but nothing is decided just yet.

Looking Ahead
Looking at this week's action we see the high placing teams managing to avoid each other this round, instead looking at the teams currently lower in the food chain. This is a good chance for some of those teams to prove that they've got enough bite to play with the big boys, although if the current standings are any indication then they'll have to pull something special out. Don't expect any major rearrangements amongst the top teams after this week. However, in Starcraft all things are possible, so we shall have to wait and see.
