GOsia ends fourth in GameStar Liga finals
GOsia, Polish Zerg player and the fourth ranked player of the remaining four players in GameStar Liga, was eliminated by Mondragon and White-Ra in the playoffs earlier today.
GOsia was paired up against Mondragon in the first round of the playoffs, where suffered a 0-2 defeat in a Zerg mirror match.
His last chance was in the loser bracket, where in the preponed loser bracket final was up against White-Ra. The old 'beast from the East' was able to scout GOsia well on Othello with probe and corsair, and could fend off the Pole quite easily.
The second game was on Andromeda, a map that favors Zerg quite a lot in their matchups against Protoss. However, White-Ra showed no awareness of those statistics as he double-nexed before his first cannon and had then an economical advance and could fend off GOsia's three-hatch Mutalisks with Zealots, Corsairs and Reavers.
GOsia therefore claims the fourth place and wins 250 Euro. For the remaining three players, the competition continues as Mondragon is up against Strelok in the winner bracket final. The losing player will then face White-Ra in the consolation final.
