Arew triumphs at Baltic WCG

The Baltic WCG, encompassing Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, has come to an end - and standing victorious is
Vytautas "MYM.Arew" Graiciunas, beating Latvian rival Cool2Die 2-0 in the finals.The Baltic finals were arranged so that four players from each country qualified, into a group stage with four groups of three, with the top two of each group advancing to a single elimination tournament of eight players, in which Arew crushed all of his opponents 2-0 and won his ticket to the finals, and the top three also won some Samsung merchandise.

This is the first time Lithuania has ever sent a representative to WCG, with the Baltic WCG having previously been won only by Latvia, so congratulations to Arew for winning, and good luck to him in Cologne!

| #13 cool2die didn't want to go to Cologne, he said beore already that he will play for second place, as he needs a monitor (second place prize), but he doesn't want to go to Grand Final as there is slim chance to win anything better than monitor. Sad but true. |

| #16 is true. We spoke with c2d, he responded to me sameway. Watched replays and he didnt play his best in finals at all... you can check the rep how he played vs me in LAN t.t But, however, Arew played pretty stable. GL ! ("beast") |

| yeah well, I don't have doubts that C2D can beat arew and anyone else in the baltic, sry LTU guys, but yeah, he's proven it way too many times, even while being inactive. Btw I'm pretty sad about how bad this WCG Baltic and WCG Latvia was organized, since I didn't hear about it till now, and the latvian wcg site was offline all the time :/ Maladca Coolion :p |

| 30# Not everyone has time ;P, btw c2d isnt very active so there is no point for him to go there, monitor is a very good prize for 5 euros ;P ( Money for entering wcg ). I was second in WCG Lithuania this year and i even didnt fight in the finals agains arew i wanted monitor ( of course arew is better then me :P ) just after i finished my baltics games admin said the sad new that prizes are only for top 3 of baltic final ( Samsung did gave prizes for free like last year )... Sad, the moral of this : Fight till the end no matter what. Regards. |

| i would love to see a showmatch between them, cuz spreding gossips "he could beat arew anytime anywhere" is just sad :/ the saddest part is having such discusion after losing a game. He might have had intensions like winning monitor or whatever he wanted,he might have been "better" but what i see that arew won and thats a fact, other than that is just bullshit. Finally if he wanted to win that monitor and was satisfied with second place why the heck did he or somebody needed to start explaining himself or him? Be happy with your brand new monitor and just sit up tight holding your ass ;) |

| c2d still very good zerg with apm 320-350. he can't go to wcg in Cologne due to studies.. and without practice he still is one of best in Baltics and can compete with Arew and other iCCup B+/A- Lithuanians, who are playing much.. gl Arew @ Cologne! edit: and score in finals is arew 2:1 c2d |

[i might be overreacting a bit cause I get most of my impressions from fortas and guys like drum'n'bass] He probably refused cause he wanted to play arew and see what can he do while being inactive. Anyways, get your facts straight, none of the latvians said that C2D beats Arew easy, we're just saying that if he'd be active, and if he'd really want the win, he'd get it.
