IefNaij wins CAN-LAN
On August 30-31st, 
Xeris[LighT] and 
TT1 hosted CAN-LAN, which they organised themselves as Canada didn't receive a WCG BW spot this year and they wanted to compensate for that fact. Some prizes were given out for preregistering, in order to make the LAN run smoother, but there were far better prizes at stake for the real thing, which was hosted in Montreal at Gamer's World.
With over 20 players participating, the LAN was a great success, with IefNaij coming in first and claiming himself the $300 dollar top prize, along with a Raidmax PSU sponsored by Binary Beast, a new-ish tournament system. He didn't meet much resistance, losing only one game in the group stages before storming undefeated through the brackets, beating Oldy 3-0 in the grand final.
Well done to the prize winners, and kudos to Xeris and TT1 for hosting the event!

I would think being in a huge country you wouldn't be such an airhead, but sadly i was wrong :( Took us 6 hours to drive there from TORONTO! I really dont think anything past that is worth driving, and no one is gonna fly over for a LAN (unless your xeris lolol). #9 Find somethin better to do with your time then trolling, all you do is post negative shit, this is supposed to congradulate the players for doing well, not telling people they hack or they suck. How the fuck can you hack at a LAN? Oldy did really well considering the obstacles put infront of him. Besides... we won that world cup tournament WGT hosted and the tsl champ is from Canada :). What do you guys have on your belt? | #32, because GGNET ranking is definitely the biggest test of skill. Look @ ICCup nation page, I dont think i've ever seen Canada outside the top 10 for 1v1 or 2v2. Also even if you win 1st place, if your from Toronto, your gonna end up spending $350 just getting there and back (gas, hotel, food etc..), if you dont have someone to stay with. And 34, your a retard, for generalizing a whole country on a few players, especially cosidering EVERY country has hackers, even Korea. ANYWAY thats all irrelevant, gj aerials and Chill.
