Blizzard Confirms A Fourth Title
After letting the cat out of the bag on Diablo 3 this year, Wrath of the Lich King, and Starcraft 2 in development Blizzard has confirmed yet another title in production.
Blizzard has long been a known force in the gaming world, well deserved as they have released three of the most successful series ever. That being said you could state their one flaw as being a lack of new material, as they have not brought a new title out since the 90s. Even their newest game is from a nearly ten year old series, but that may all change in the next coming year or so.
Blizz executive Rob Pardo also reveals that Diablo 3 is not an MMO, obvious to some but nice to have that cleared up by someone official! His statement could speak volumes about either the near or distant future for Blizzard gaming, the only way to find out it to wait. Though it does not seem that Blizz Fans will be anxious while waiting as WotLK, Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 should all be out before any new series.

| It is Apocalypse, a new game that uses the Obelisk game engine, a new one which allows for almost picture-like graphics and effects. My son Elmer came from the year 2030 using a time machine and he says this game will be responsible for a World War III as the characters and items in Apocalypse eventually incorporate "metaphysical technology". This technology enables players to attach sensory tubes to various points of their body, so that when their characters undergo physical contacts such as sword fights and such, a certain degree of sensation such as pain from cuts on the game character, is felt by the player. At first Blizzard developed this feature as a means to enriching the gaming experience and bestowing some sense of bravery upon the gamers. However, some unknown Swedish hacker altered the whole system so that now the physical contacts transferred to players at nearly full extent - meaning that if a character was smashed by a hammer, the player himself would also get severe bone fractures throughout the body. And so the people, unaware of this change at first, gamed and died. By the time the rig was discovered, tens of millions around the world have lost their lives. And so the countries went to war despite none of their initial participation in the hacking of this system - after, it was the Swedish hacker who changed the system. And so my son Elmer came back to our time to speak of the horrors of the last World War, one that can still be prevented if gamers of our generation boycott this upcoming franchise. For once the Apocalypse falls upon mankind, there is no going back... |

| ha, so if d3 is not mmo probably not pay to play. on the other note, if theyre gonna release a new mmo, its like making their own competition for wow. the new mmo will attract new gamers but will probably also attract wow players to switch to that new game. anyway nothing's lost if the player moves to another one of their(blizz) own games. if the player will play both, thats another thing :o either way its good for blizz |

| I wonder what would happen if you decide not to have a son, or name him something else than elmer, also if he's already born then can you kill him? what would happen then?, if we don't get this information that you got now, which is the current events that will lead to world war3, or is this knowledge what will change it? how do we know... it's all very confusing but we must save the world somehow. |

| Even if there would be computers that could run those so called "picture-like graphics and effects", not too many people would have a computer like that. And Blizzard usually does games that pretty much anyone can play even with a slightly worse computer, imo. |
