FT.aCt) and Korea Crowned Ladder Kings

As Season Four of iCCups ladder ended the dust settled and the Kings stood proud.

iCCup was once barren of any activity, called The Abyss it paled in comparison to PGT and just was not the first choice for ladder. But with the death of PGT and the inevitable end of any resemblance of a battle.net ladder, the time was right for iCCup. Now running into the fourth official season of the ladder the worlds best come to The Abyss server to get a taste of victory.

Korea on the Top

As expected with any good ladder, the Koreans have once again destroyed iCCup this season. Taking the number one spots in every category but the clan division, as well as holding a strong top ten in the one on one rankings. Notable among those are former OSL finals hopeful Luxury and a rumored Lecaf Terran. Korea also holds the top two on two player, and the awards for best in 1v1 and 2v2 for country.

Team FT.aCt) takes home the gold

American based Future Talent: Art Control Team went home with the nice shiny prize of best clan on the ladder. With such notable players as Yan, who holds the #2 and 3 spot in the 2v2 rankings, and former pro gamer Love its no wonder they got this spot. They ended the season with a clan league record of 6-3 (with a 2-1 walk over record), they did not advance from Division B2 but remain to try again this season.

Also in the top Clan rankings were Danish clan Meet Your Makers, Portugese Excello, and German clan StarCraft Troopers. The second spot went to Korean clan JSC who has progamer Sea.Riddle among their ranks. The top five nations consisted of a good mix of the Brood War countries that represents the scene right now. First of course went to the Korean masters but not to be out done the Polish came nipping at their heals in a close second, they were followed by the USA, Russia, and Germany.

Sign up for Season 5

Season Five has now begun and everyone has a clean slate with nothing to lose. With iCCups ever growing popularity (1.5 million games were played in 3 months!) this season looks to be even better than the last (TSL two?).
