With only 4 players left, they battled it out to reach the finals. The top three would be guaranteed a spot to goto the WCG Grand Finals in Seattle.
The two semi-finals turned out as:
Hwasin vs
sAviOr - where
Hwasin layed confidence in his Terran vs Zerg and took out the mighty Zerg 2:1, and
Stork vs
Free, not surprisingly Stork took both matches.
It was down to
Hwasin vs
Stork, but either way - these two have already confirmed their trip to Seattle for the shot at the first prize of $20,000 USD (Not clearly announced by WCG yet). Only moments later,
Hwasin had taken 1st place at WCG Korea 2007 over
Stork on

On the other side of the battlefield -
sAviOr was to face
Free (Yun Yong-Tae) for the third place title, the chance to goto Seattle with the other top 2 placers. Needless to say,
sAviOr did his job and crossed over to third, 2:0 over
Free.
