After over three months of playing, the first season of the GosuGamers Starleague is now complete.
The first season was won by the Chinese player
xLo.Pj, who managed to claw his way through the winner brackets, and eventually beat

This means that all players on the left hand side will participate in GosuGamers Starleague season 2, whilst the players on the right hand side will have to requalify through the qualifier tournaments to participate.

Groups
The groups will not be divided in the same way as last time. This time, the first two players of the first season plus the top 6 of the two qualifier tournaments will each lead a group. They are allowed to select a player, which then selects another player, until all 32 players are selected. Pj will be leading group A, whilst SEn will lead group B.
Maps
Four maps from the last season will be kept, and be supplemented by two maps from the best nonkorean melee map site, Broodwarmaps.net. This is the map pool for next season:

AvatarQualification Tournaments
The two qualification tournaments will be held on Saturday 30th of june, and Sunday 1st of July, at 17:00 and 19:00, respectively. All players except those who are already qualified for the GGSL will be welcome to participate. There is no entry fee. The top four of each tournament will qualify for the second GGSL season.
Replays
All replays of the last GGSL will be packed to the best of the crew's effort, and released as soon as possible. Please be patient; the full replay pack will arrive in time.
We hope that everyone enjoyed the first season of GGSL, and we hope for an even more succesful second season.
