SearchDraco leaves Excello: 'xLo in complete mess'

After a super success in China, Draco now tells GosuGamers that he quits Excello due to the messy organization.
- I'm leaving xLo due to complete mess in organization in the team, he says.
The reign of Excello has been dropping. They were not able to secure their FragBet League title, and are not on top of the WGTour Clan League as they once were either. They did win the BWCL top division title but this is not nearly as prestigious as the titles they have won before.
Draco says that it started out good with Excello - he was promised (and received) great support, but after a month the sponsors stopped making those promises come true.
- I'm very disappointed in our team leader who at first had created himself as a person who's involved very much in a team and after few weeks lost all of his interest in xLo's future, says Draco.
Where the future will be next for Draco is still uncertain, but he tells GosuGamers that he received a lot of offers. Rest assured, the team that signs this Polish player can count themselves lucky.

| I think Draco and other players are letting this "sponsorship" thing go too far. They need to know that they are just players. Draco is good, yes, no question. A lot of players are extremely good that are only moderatley 'sponsored' and actually payed or given gifts from sponsors or etc.. However, they need to know that they are just players, like us. I'm sure Draco will be able to join any team that he likes, no problem. If he's looking for a sponsorship deal, GL w/ that. If you want money for playing Broodwar - Go to Korea and try pro-gaming. Those are the best players in the world, and for good reason. They absolutely deserve the money they're making. If anyone is unhappy w/ the money they're making from an online team - get over urself because u prolly don't deserve that money anyway. Many players are getting to over-estimate themselves. Pj, i'm sure, can atest to the skill needed and required before you can make it big in Korea. The Koreans deserve the money, everyone else should just play the game for the love and entertainment of it. Most of those other teams Draco was on, I don't believe, had any sponsorship whatsoever - except MyM. Everyone that's becomming a decent player these days are requiring a sponsorship team - making what? 20-30$ a month? You should play BW because u enjoy it and if u really are good enough - you can make it in Korea. Since neither Draco, Grrrr, Elky, Pj, Rekrul or Assem could make it big in Korea - no one else should be clamoring for sponsorship, because none of them are anything more spectacular than those guys and no one can make a good as impact in Korea, as the Koreans. It's like taking a back-yard football team and wanting to make a big sponsorship deal w/ the NFL, just because you beat all the other back-yard teams in ur state or maybe in the tri-state area! Everyone's rushing for money, money, money - but most of the time they don't deserve it and should just play the game for ur own enjoyment, rather than ur own prosperity. He was talking about retirement anyway - it's prolly best he leaves all the teams he's involved with. |

| hes not gonna get worthwhile practice from any non kor team, and the teams offer money, so why not take it? all that 'play the game for fun and honor' bullshit is just spewed by people who dont have the opportunity to do anything else. getting payed to play doesnt exclude having fun, and its a nice little bonus. |

| Honestly, I think Bartar deserves this. This is what happens when people get too greedy. First, he killed his old team AFM when he started paying good players to join out of his own pocket, just because his team AFM sucked horribly... then they started getting good with bought players, enough to get a sponsorship. Once he went to BOSS he justgot rid of all the unskilled AFM that had been there for years... and then with xLo gets rid of his big guys Strelok and White-Ra so he could afford to buy Draco and PJ, etc... It's really a shame to see how greedy Bartar is and now its kicking him in the ass. Whenever xLo wins CW or something, Bartar makes some glorious newspost on it on his website. When xLo won WGTCL match 5-0 he made this nice post and then came on my post on WGT saying how his news is better and he "wants to make good accurate news for the community" then when xLo lose 1-4 I don't see any news there... and no Bartar coming and saying his is better. He's only in this for his own superficial gains, and I'm glad his team is slowly realizing that truth about it. |

| I really agree to #69. Although im not familiar with the things happening in xLo (based on what Strelok said earlier about management), in my opinion Draco tends to be a crybaby. Sure, he is a very excellent player, but i had the same thought when draco returned from korea. I mean nobody should be so naive about that korea-thing. If someone is skilled and ambitious enough, i would never regret that dream as an impossible thing, but i wouldnt return and say things like: "its so hard for a foreigner, cry cry cry", cause this is a clear thing you should know BEFORE starting a "new life" in another country with an absolutely different culture. To cut a long story short: If he really wants to make his BW dream come true, he should go back to korea, instead of searching for an european team with payment, but keeping in mind: being a broodwar progamer means also LIVING like a KOREAN pro. |

| Everyone has mixed feelings - some think i'm an idiot, some agree w/ me. Everyone who just has negative comments about my opinion can piss off, because they don't contribute anything to the topic, other than their negative opinion about someone elses opinion. My bad about Giyom - I forgot about him winning that Starleague, and being in a few others w/ some GG's against ppl like Boxer etc. However, as we know, he isn't making a 'go' of it still. He had his highlights but chose not to continue his pro-game career. It was almost too much for him - so he started doing other things, good for him. Elky, he didn't make that much impact over there. Go Idra! U = SUPERSTAR! Maybe 3 out of 10 random players knows who u are! You're so popular! I bet you really enjoy all the time u invest in BW - I sure hope it pays off for you! | Why u think big money in European SC scene is something bad? It's a self-moderating process. Why would a player not get paid for training 8h a day to perform for his team? I really hope Draco is going to go to Korea. After PGL it seems that he is the first non-korean to go. And the big reacrutation to pro-teams about a month ago? Nobody should underestimate how hard it is to move to a country with a totally different language and culture either, let alone with the pressure of succeeding there.
