There has been a rumor floating around for several months that Pantech EX has been going through some major financial trouble. This might come as a shock to some seeing how one of the teams members
NaDa, is one of the highest paid professional gamers. Currently, from now until the end of the month all of the players on the team are subject to being transfered to another team. As long as the appropriate team is able to give Pantech EX a good offer for the player that they so choose.
For awhile, many possible investors have come forward and said that they were interested in buying the team. However, right before serious negotiations were about to take place they quickly changed their mind. The owner of Pantech EX, ManKi Kim states, "few places have shown interests, but withdrew quickly" and "we never had chance to officially negotiate in details".
