Yesterday BrEaKdOwN[pG] faced ToT)Mondragon( in the grand final of the ToT Tournament. Mondragon needed only 2 wins for victory since he came from the Winners-Bracket (undefeated!), and with 200 listeners(shoutcast) they all waited for Mondragon to succeed. But it was BrEaKdOwN[pG] who won the first game. Mondragon responded with a win next game, he now needed 1 win for victory. But BrEaKdOwN won the 2 remaining games and claimed the victory. How the maps were chosen I'm not sure of, but my guess is 'losers pick'. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mondragon is a

Game #1 - Nostalgia
Mondragon @2, BrEaKdOwN @8, BrEaKdOwN goes fast exp while Mondragon goes fast gas + bunker. BrEaKdOwN has no problems cleaning the bunker out of his way as Mondragons backup was late since they've got diagonal start locations. Mondragon turns back home and builds factory then starport and launches 1 wraith towards BrEaKdOwN's main, BrEaKdOwN goes 3 hatch lurk/ling/hydra strat. The wraith dies before doing any hard damage, Mondragon builds control tower and dropship whilst BrEaKdOwN expands @4 main. Mondragon scans the exp and drop m&m+bat and BrEaKdOwN cancles the exp. BrEaKdOwN launches a big ling attack against Mondragons poorly defended main. BrEaKdOwN succeds to kill all marines but the bats finnishes the lings. But a second wave attack from BrEaKdOwN, and some good uc, finnishes the attack and Mondragon gives up.
Game #2 - Valhalla
Mondragon @12, BrEaKdOwN @9, both choose
. Mondragon goes basic P Island strat against Z, fast gas and fast cors. BrEaKdOwN goes fast gas and spire whilst he's researching transport, without any defence against air. Mondragon kills 2 overlords and slows BrEaKdOwN a little. BrEaKdOwN builds scourge and mutalisk and attacks, but flees when he see's Mondragons big army of corsairs. BrEaKdOwN builds hydralisk den and expands. Mondragon harrasses BrEaKdOwN with corsairs while expanding @10 island. BrEaKdOwN predicted it and dropped the island with 12 hydralisks, Mondragon expands the top right center island and BrEaKdOwN expands @3 natural exp. Mondragon still flies around with his corsairs and spotts the expansion, and he kills it with a reaver drop. BrEaKdOwN responds with a 2 group army of hydras towards Mondragons main, while Mondragon still has 2 reavers left in his main. BrEaKdOwN manages to get a pylon or two. Reavers does hard damage on BrEaKdOwN and he flees with half of his army and tries to drop Mondragons expansion, but it's too many cannons and he flees again. Mondragon kills the expansion hatch with 2 reavers and then flees, BrEaKdOwN re-expand the "3 natural exp. Mondragon expands the center and guards it well with reavers+cannons. BrEaKdOwN cant do much since every expansion is heavily guarded, so he pretty much just flies around, but he continue to expand and expands @6. Mondragon takes out BrEaKdOwNs main with 6 reavers and 2 corsairs. In a last desperate attempt to win BrEaKdOwN attacks Mondragons main with 3 groups of hydras but Mondragons reavers was just too much. BrEaKdOwN gives up. Game #3 - Lost Temple
Mondragon @8, BrEaKdOwN @12, BrEaKdOwN goes hatch->pool and Mondragon goes 1 gate citadel+archives. Mondragon attacks with his first zealot and puts it behind BrEaKdOwNs minerals, my guess is that he wants to buy time and BrEaKdOwN isnt able to attack Mondragon(very cleaver). BrEaKdOwN expands to his natural and builds hydralisk den + speed hydra. Mondragon goes to an early attack with 7~zealots and 2~goons while building a dt and a hightemp + storm. BrEaKdOwN counter-attacks with 10~hyds and Mondragon tries to scare them off with his dt, but BrEaKdOwN has an overlord above the cliff and the dt is now visible. BrEaKdOwN kills a cannon and a few zealots + mondragons dt. When the other cannon is done BrEaKdOwN flees. Mondragon tries to expand his natural and defends it with 2 hightemps + a few zealots. The overlord is still above the cliff and BrEaKdOwN launches and a hydralisk assault against the not-yet-done-exp. BrEaKdOwN avoids Mondragons cliff ,with 2 cannons and 2 hightemps, and goes around and kills the expansion. Mondragon shows his great toss skills and totally misses the hydras with his storm, the second storm scares BrEaKdOwN away with a 'mission accomplished'. Mondragon now with 2 gates tries to expand again while BrEaKdOwN expands @2 second natural exp. BrEaKdOwN see's the exp and launhes a second assault with hydras, and Mondragon leaves the game.
Game #4 - Lost Temple
Mondragon @12, BrEaKdOwN @2, both chose zerg. They both go the same strat basicly except that BrEaKdOwN goes hatch->evo->pool and Mondragon hatch->pool->evo. Both researches ling attack, and they both go massling/lair. A massive struggle is faught below BrEaKdOwNs choke, they both harrass eachother with their lings. Both goes scourge and kills eachothers overlords, but Mondragon goes a 3rd hatch and BrEaKdOwN goes 6~mutalisks, Mondragon still has scourge left and when BrEaKdOwN manages to kill a few, he launches a big ling attack against Mondragons lings and with Mutalisk + a lot of lings Mondragons scourge/lings cant stand a chance, BrEaKdOwNs lings runs over Mondragons main.
