Last year's vice-champion Yayba took the first place this time, giving no chances to his opponents. He will represent Poland at World Cyber Games 2010 finals in Los Angeles, USA.The Polish WCG qualifiers were always very well know for their high level and big prestige. This year was no different, although number of the players participating was drastically lower than usual. There were only four participants in the form of Yayba, MaNa, ParanOid (GOsia) and Pike.
Last year winner, ParanOid, did not manage to win his matches and after two defeats was knocked out of the tournament.
Third place was taken by Pike, who met MaNa in the Loser Bracket Final. The better one of the two then advanced to the Grand Final where Yayba was waiting. The 3:2 result in favor for Yayba shows that the competition was tight and the outcome of the match very hard to predict.

| Not really the most opaque news for national qualifiers which are "very well know for their high level and big prestige", anyway SC is, unfortunately, dead. A shame, big one. Nevertheless GJ Yayba, show'em ! |

| That was not sc2 problem with lack of people but sponsors only provided 4 spots for finals. So that was the major problem with lack of people |

| GL, but looking at those 4 players I think that only ParanOid could achieve sth at WCG finals. Pitty he didn't make it. |
| @18 I've had the same feeling first, yet remember, that Yayba did made it to the WCG grand finals year ago. I was very shocked seeing ParanOid losing to Pike even tough he played Protoss instead od Zerg. As we speak about ones to have the chance of achievements take in regard that that Yayba has won with ParanOid. you can't actually state anything about their skills now besides the fact, that Yayba was the best this year. I think it's more reasonable to assume Yayba can do more than ParanOid right now, altough ParanOid was a superior player year ago. |

| as someone menschioned MistrZZZ and his activity, friend told me that on last WCG final in warsaw he wos eating in breake of final event, suddenly mistrzzz appered, as i know he said something like hellow nerds : D and started chat, telling some funny stories, anyway he is alive and just take a breake with poker carrier |
