During the second day of trial that held place yesterday, famous StarCraft progamer Ma Jae Yoon, nickname sAviOr, pleaded guilty to match-fixing. He initially denied all charges against him.

sAviOr admitted that he was involved in the match-fixing scandal. He also changed his statement in the Hwasin's issue, saying that he is responsible for forcing Hwasin to take part in the illegal activity.

It is believed that the progaming teams knew about the match-fixing incidents since December 2009, so long before it became widely known, February 2010, it is. Both managers and players conducted their own investigation, which clearly showed what was happening. This resulted in the fact that coaches were trying to exclude rogue players from the team rosters, without going into serious disputes though.

Eleven players were permanently banned for life by Kespa a few weeks ago due to the match-fixing accusations. Along with not being able to play in the Korean pro-gaming scene ever again they also had all of their rewards removed.
