EVER 2009 OSL Semi Final - Results

Flash's macro abilities prove once again to be an unstoppable force against his zerg opponent Calm.

In the first match we saw Flash play against Calm on January 1, 2010. Calm tried valiantly to fight against the monstrous terran snatching the second game away from Flash with very nice mutalisk harass.

In the third game, we saw the incredible abilities of both players. It was this game that became the most exciting, and when faced with the threat of ultralisks, zerglings and defilers with plague and swarm abilities, Flash comes in introducing marines, medics and an abundant of tanks. In the end Calm was unable to stop the terran monster Flash, with Flash taking the match 3-1.

The match between Movie and Shine was played on January 8, 2010. Each of the four games the competitors played proved to be extremely exciting. Throughout the matches it seemed Shine's attempts to drop into his opponents base, only to have reavers and psi storms obliterating his armies and economic output afterward.

In the third game we saw a return of Shine's mutalisks coupled with a well structured base that ultimately allowed him to take a game off Movie. However, Movie learned quickly, as muta/scourge wouldn't work on him again. Movie would defeat Shine in the fourth set to seal the match 3-1 in his favor.
