iCCup TV LIVE Streaming

Posted by Łukasz "McBat" Grzelak 2 years ago

iCCup has launched its new project which allows people to stream games live in an innovative way for StarCraft players.

iCCup put on the solution of HLTV, which is very well known and successfully used in the Half-Life and Counter-Strike communities. Basically, a player that is streaming sends information about actions that he takes, not a pure video stream that we all know so good. In turn, people who watch receive only that data, so they do not have to download tons of megabytes.

If you want to use this new feature you have to download the appropriate plugins. One of them allows you to stream your games, the other one to watch streamed games. iCCup reveals that there will be more options to use in the future, e.g. audio track for replays or first person replays.

If you have vista/7 and are tech noobs like me, remember - set "run as admin" or w/e otherwise it won't work. Took me like 10 minutes to figure that out :D

why wouldn't you set windows to automatically always run everything as administrator on your account?;)

well i see same players 4 games at list does it means he plays 4 game at the same time lol?

#25 lfunk 2 years ago
and fpview seems impossible since bw dont record mouse movements and your view on map

#26 exigent 2 years ago
#24 it saves every game thats recorded. the games at the very top of the list are usually live, unless no one is using the feature at that time. This is not about mouse movement, or fpview. It's about SCTV, where you are able to watch games of players who choose the stream option.

#24 if u watching a livegame u can speed x16 untill u are where hes playing, then u have to watch in x1. GGC works the same with wc3/dota.
