In the League of Their Own

Well, it's 29th so it's time to announce what was behind our charming little teaser video you saw a few weeks back. Originally we aimed to present the event yesterday, but the server was going on and off so we hit the bars instead.

Nation War League!
As you've probably guessed it's a league for national teams to rumble. iCCup had one for awhile, it practically died, so we've decided to do it properly.

GENERAL RULES

1. Meet up in channel GosuGamers on iCCup.
2. Antihack ON

- If any of the games should be shoutcasted via Internet radio or such, neither one of the teams are allowed to listen to the shoutcast.
- If this game should to be shoutcasted, both teams have to agree on this.
- Observers are allowed in the game if both players agree to it. The administrator of the tournament is always allowed to observe a game.

WALKOVERS

A walkover will be given if your opponent has not shown up within 15 minutes of the tournament start.

You may leave you computer for a very short while when you are in the middle of the tournament to go to the bathroom or something similar. But be careful, if it takes too long (more than ten minutes or so) you may face a disqualification when you get back. Do not leave the computer during a game! Your opponent is not forced to keep the game paused if you pause it.

LAG

-If you are having lag problems in a match you may try another server or hamachi for that match. You must inform an admin before doing so however.
-If the lag problems are unsolvable an admin will try to determine which one of the players has the problem. If it cannot be determined, there will be a coinflip as a last resort.
-If you have continuous problems in the tournament you will be kicked out of it. It's your responsibility to ensure that your internet is working fine at the given time.

DISCONNECTIONS

- If the disconnection occurs within 3 minutes of the beginning of a game, the match should be restarted.
- If the disconnection occurs after 3 minutes, the players can agree to restart the match. If one of the competitors claims that they had a huge advantage and was going to win, the administrator will take a look at the replay and give his decision. The decision of the administrator is absolute and cannot be overruled. If the decision is that a rematch should be played and a player refuses to play it - he loses instantly.

PLAYERS

All players who play for the nation must be on the nations Gosu rankings page.

REPORTING

At the beginning of the match both leaders decide on one to collect ALL replays from the match to email to Warrior-350-.
When emailing Warrior please include.
The draw.
The score.
ALL Replays.

BUGS AND TRICKS

Allowed
- Lurker hold
- Observer hold on turrets.

Prohibited
- Ally mines
- Sliding CC
- SCV / Dropship bug causing the game to crash
- Any hack or exploit that's normally considered cheating

MAP POOL

1v1 Outsider, Heart Break Ridge, Fighting Spirit, Destination, Match Point, Tau Cross

2v2 Tornado, Faoi, Colosseum, Vampire, Python

PRIZE POOL

There isn't any. First edition will be a test run of sorts, to see if we are in fact intellectual enough to handle a league of our own. If, surprisingly, we are able to cope i will sell my Porsche 911 GT3 RS so we have some cash to go around.

How to Participate
~ Leaders have 2 weeks to contact Warrior-350- to get their team added to the roster.

~ After each team contacts Warrior-350- they should contact Synergis or Makinon about updating their teams roster. It should look like this:



~ Once the event kicks off it will be played on Saturdays at 21:00.

~ Classiс clan war format: four 1v1's and a single 2v2 match.

~ A team should have at least 6 members before it's accepted into the league.

~ We are hoping to do 4 groups with the top two advancing into a bracket tour. (but this all depends on the amount of participants)

~ If you don't plan on keeping your team active or alive during this event please do not sign up we do not wanna waste the time of the other teams.

~ For added incentive for teams to acquire players to show up for Nation Wars our database team has agreed for the first time ever to award database points for individuals as well.
