A Homage to SlayerS_`Boxer`and [NC]Yellow - and exciting news

All users of this site know and love the legends that are SlayerS_`Boxer`and [NC]YellOw for being giants of StarCraft since the very beginning and remaining so today. A week ago they met again in Proleague-battle, as always it was an epic struggle beyond the ordinary.

Through the link below you will find listed not only this recent game (the 'raw' Korean VOD is at the top, one with English commentary can be found at the bottom) but also some of their very best games throughout history - all the way from 2001 to present time. However, there are more reasons to be Boxer-happy.

Every GosuGamer and, indeed, Starcraft player of any kind now has a great reason to be very very happy - a new Korean TV-show will soon be launched, and it's looking to be a feast. This is not a new Starleague or a game show where progamers face seven fans from B.net on Big Game Hunters, this is all about r-e-v-e-n-g-e.

According to our sources, this new TV show (broadcast in Korea every Tuesday) will bring all old rivalries to life - with a champion taking stage and meeting his foes of old. A more crowd-pleasing enterprise can hardly be imagined in the Starcraft universe, as the first legend to step forward is - of course - Lim-Yo Hwan, our Terran Emperor himself. Battle may commence.

For these reasons, go back and walk down the memory lane of StarCraft history. Watch [NC]YellOw, the original King of Silver, fight against the greatest progamer of all time, SlayerS_`Boxer`

EDIT: The first episode of 'Revenge' has already been aired - SlayerS_`Boxer` vs Pusan. Also a big shoutout to McBat who had already written a news post about this before I did (missed that one, sorry) - and to Nigguraht for bringing it to my attention. Follow the link 3rd link to watch this epic game

My history I know, and I am a huge fan of the Maestro - though it is my personal opinion that Boxer has forged a greater legacy and has had a greater impact upon Starcraft beyond the game itself. Then again, that's me :)

#8 as i said before...savior was the one who cut down boxer`s domination over starcraft ... and if i come to think about it..i guess there are more than one progamers which meant more to the entire worldwide community than boxer..xellos for example...anyway,the ideea is that boxer was never as dominating as savior...he has his unique style which attracts all of us,no doubt about it,but he`s not the best progamer ever...forgot the name of the site,i would of given you a link..it was koreean though, translated ofc...where the koreeans themselves voted for savior:)...anyway this shit is gonna be epic and i`m gonna root for Das Emperor:)
#7 savior is out of the scene atm, that`s why people forget them..as they will do the same with JD too for example, once he`ll start going down the pipe(although he`s by far the best in the world with a huge gap betweem him and 2nd place on KeSPA rankings)...
And btw,if boxer were to be the best why did Discovery Channel made a show about eSports->Starcraft and starred Xellos?:)...maybe because he won 2 wcg`s in a row?(correct me here,i`m not sure about this statement)...

ask savior, nada, oov or any other pro which progamer they think has done the most in BW and ull get Boxer as an answer lol =P

oh, and btw, as podgi pointed out, boxer won wcg twice in a row, the only person to ever accomplish that in WCG for starcraft (same goes for OSL =P he won that twice in a row also)

#7 are u telling me that yellow and boxer arent legends? they are two of the gamers which more improved respectively zerg and terran at the early years of pro-gaming starcraft. seems stupid to go against them. obviously july and savior were legends too, but that doesnt crush with the other ones Oo seems like u are supporting a stupid argument

without boxer and yellow, the current "legends" probly never would have heard of starcraft, let alone play it

Seriously, I'd have to go with Boxer as the greatest "Legend" of Starcraft.

I don't really keep up with pro-gaming any more, only look in on it once every several months, and still, Boxer is most remembered and recognized.
