GosuGamers briefly sat down with long time WCG visitor Cloud and new comers ESC.520 aka Gosi(terran) and EG.Louder along with Ptak who qualified but yet couldn't go.

Who is your predictions to advance from your group? and who do you think will win the finals?
Stork gonna advance with 6-0 and than I'm gonna advance with 5-1 in 2nd place. Stork will eventually go on to win the finals
You have a lot of confidence in advancing from your group having Sen FengZi and Brat_Ok doesn't seem to worry you to much then do they?
No they don't worry me especially cause Brat_Ok is weak in TvT and Sen is in ZvT Fengzi good but i can take him off.
This is your first time going to a big event like this. Anything you look forward to. Any one you wanna meet while there?
I'm excited to see guys like Artosis and Idra, and my new teammates Kolll, Strelok, and White_Ra and some of the other guys ive played over the year.

Who are your predictions to take your group and to win the overall Event?
I think Jaedong will come out first and Toodming second from my group. Jaedong or Stork will probably take the whole thing, but I'm rooting for Jaedong
What do you think your chances are to advance from your group. you mention Toodming but you or Fenix and even Kolll could upset that at any point. agree?
My chances of advancing from my group are not that bad. I've practiced with a Korean friend id lately and I've been doing good so far. Yet I think every non Chinese/Korean in my group will most likely lose because playing is these guys job and we do it just for our own enjoyment.
This is your fifth WCG trip anything your looking forward to?
As this is my fifth WCG what I'm looking after is just having a nice life experience in Cheng Du. I am not expecting anything, last year everything looked in my favor yet I failed pretty bad, so I am not gonna do the same mistake and focus too much on the tournament. I will just go for a week of pure entertainment

Who are your predictions to advance from your group, and who do you predict to win the event?
I think jaedong will definitely advance - that's a no brainer. I actually think it's hard to call past that with such a strong group, but I'm inclined to think Fenix or Toodming have equal chances at #2. As for the finals a Korean obviously :) I of course want to see Bisu or Stork win. in fact a Bisu Stork final would be awesome, though I'm not sure if that's possible. anyway, I'm thinking Bisu has this.
What do you think your chances of advancing from the group are?
I think my chances are very low. I feel 50/50 against Cloud, Kolll and Toodming, and I feel I should beat the guy from Azerbaijan. I don't have a good record at all vs Fenix, and I don't think I could beat Jaedong without epic luck :) the bo1 format makes it really luck based in my opinion and I'm not happy with the format at all
What do you look forward to while there competeing?
I'm looking forward to meeting some people in person - White-Ra, Dimaga, Cloud, Fenix. and of course I'm looking forward to seeing Dan (Artosis), Nick (Tasteless), and Greg (Idra) again - always fun. we have some extra time in the city so I think I'll get to do some exploring, which will be amazing

I am getting dumped at the airport tomorrow night around 10pm, but my flight leaves Monday at 6am. due to family schedule and stuff nobody could bring me at 4 in the morning on Monday. so that's going to suck. But overall I'm excited and looking forward to the adventure :)

Sadly you wont be participating in the finals this year due financing. Who do you think has some strong chances from each group? And who do you think can take it?
JaeDong, ToodMing, Stork, FengZi, Bisu, PJ, Ra, and A2 if he train little bit....i think other guys have chance only if this 8 don't show up...t_T
You didnt put Idra advancing in the 4th group. We all know White-ra can give him a run for his money do You really think A2 has what it takes to down Idra
Well i really think A2 is old gosu who need little train to take down anyone... who is Idra?? guy who stay in Korea ...He won some non important tournaments and that's it.
What kind of final do expect to see...? Do you think we could have a foreigner up there again like in 07? or do think all Korean again? and who?
look we can have foreigner but with wild luck or something because in real skill they are very very above us... in the end it will be Jaedong vs Bisu.

| Why do foreigners even show up? It's very depressing to hear these predictions no one is even giving themself a chance to take down Bisu/Jaedong/Stork. They're not wrong but still, at least lie to yourself. Make this a little more interesting. |

| A little confidence never hurt anyone, but he's young and if he goes 2-4 or 1-5 in his group that wiiil make a huge impact on his gaming career just as it did for cloud, only cloud has 10 years of maturity over that little fellow. Im talkin bout 520 ofcourse. Edit : Sens ZvT was his best MU back in the day. There is no russian terran that is bad at TvT-.- and fengzi qualified from wcg CHINA. Get over yourself kido. |

| actually ptak could go,the money was there, but his job doesn't allow that trip,and our wcg organizers didn't want to send the no2 ranked player DD-jova because it isn't profitable to send a "weaker" player,so they just paid ptak some money to keep quiet and blame it on "financing". sadly,that's how everything works in our country,wcg is no different. |
