Zotac Cup #27 results
ZOTAC StarCraft Brood War Cup #27 started on 24.10.2009, to be precise - sharp 13:00 o'clock and left some impressive brackets to look into. 41 (38 checked in) participants and 100 Euros on the line are just some of reasons why to check this news out.
Zotac Cup is one of the tournaments that is very underrated by foreigner community even when it gives out nice prizes like a 100 Euros. Latest incarnation goes by number 27 and number of players was at least enough to make proper and interesting brackets underway.After some good games, ESC.Kolll went through all the troubles and earned himself first spot, crown of Zotac Cup champion and of course - 100 Euros.

| what happened to the other week's Zotac cup? us USA citizens have to wake up at the peek of dawn to play this, the one time I did no admin showed. GJ koll! I hope to show up to one of these and have an admin show! I wish they would change the time Xd |

| zotac bw cup is so sad. 38 participants ....... i wonder why they still continue it. zotac wc3 cup for example always has 400-500 participants, with the same prize money. |

| the community gets smaller and smaller thats one part of the problem. on the other hand the announcements are too few. there should be big headnews on teamliquid.net and gosugamerst.net BEFORE sign up phase and in front of EVERY tournament and ADDITIONALLY there should be a more up to date report about the results with replays included. |

| #23 I partially agree with you. The community is still big enough for tournaments. Take ASL and TSL as an example. Lots of guys played ladder in order to qualify. However, Zotac doesn't seem to grab people's attention. I think the main problems are: not enough support from sc websites, bad time for some people and not big enough prize. I may be wrong but that's what I think. Also, gg.net doesn't encourage people to participate. The website only brings results and that's it. Do you see any recommendation that we should register, play and so on? Link for signing up? No. |
