CaStrO defeats ret to take fourth ZOTAC title

Jose "CaStrO" Castro became the most accomplished ZOTAC player this far when taking his fourth (and a half) title last Saturday by defeating Jos "ret" de Kroon 3-1 in the grand final.

CaStrO has now collected a total of 450 Euros from the ZOTAC Cups, more than any other player. Greg "IdrA" Fields and Yoon "yoon" Seob Lee are tied second place with 300 Euros each.

The Peruvian Zerg went through Draco, Arew and HappyZerg to reach the finals against ret. The Dutchman ret, premier winner, had reVa, Preator, PrO, Scroll and fraer on his side of the brackets.

ret, who has started playing Zerg versus Zerg instead of his regular Terran versus Zerg before to prepare for a trip to Korea, lost 1-3 despite playing Terran this time.

The first ZOTAC season is now halfway done. Next Saturday the 23rd out of 45 will be played out. Make sure to sign up at the ZOTAC website.

Yes Castro has to Pause during games since he is at an Internet Cafe working and playing at the same time. I hope most of you can understand that and very good manners from the guys who play vs him letting him pause.

#18 it is not manner at all to force your oponent to accept pause because you just decide to play at work. In a tournament where it is about money and the win i would not accept it

u guys know that ret had been playing ZvZ for like 3-4 days when he met castro in the finals right?

taking 1 game off him is nice, his zvz will get better fast cuz he has so much skill.
