There have been some delays due to Grape's love of cake and ice cream, but the second round of Ret vs. B-team pro gamers will commence this saturday!
The map pool has been decided, and is as follows:
Round 1: Destination
Round 2: Neo Medusa
Round 3: Colosseum II
So each of these games should be interesting, with a 2, 3, and 4 player map pool, respectively.
How to Watch
The games will be LIVE streamed via an embed on the original post on SCForAll's site, or you can follow this link to the actual Justin.tv site where you can chat with other viewers, much like mogulus (except better, cuz it's a penguin!)

| who cares when the game gets "LIVE" casted. since they already have been played out. just make a news once the commented vod is up and pple dont have to break a leg to make it so they can watch it "live" although its NOT. btw its kinda rediculos to watch a game which from like 5 days ago and then to be stated that it would be "live". same with valor tournament or esl playoffs. who cares if the game isnt really live but instead just recorded. does anybody watch sportgames from a week ago? do they get labeled "live"? apparently not. so plz do everyone a favor and just state the facts how they are and dont pretend that it would be really "live". at least news/announcements should state that they live comment prerecorded games. that really pissed me of at valor and esl playoffs too. i went there with the mindset to watch a REAL live game and instead i get some retarded replay. i can watch replays by myself instead of watching per stream and wasting TIME by thinking it would be "live". |

| #9 thats the point why it pisses me off. its not, its all recorded. ret wanted to stream those games already like 2-3 days ago but artosis stopped him because he wanted to cast them "live". obviously those games already were played out. and considering the keenness of ret wanting to show them he prolly won the set. i really could care less wasting my time to watch a live recasting at some ungodly time just so the caster has some viewers with him. i can easily watch those later on vod at MY planned time cause they plainly just arent live! PS: the i think the game with the first b-teamer wasnt live too. the stream was saturday but the games have been played on friday. not sure about that one though |
| Live casting is hard because of lag issues between Korea and europe... btw I never wanted to stream the games, I have no idea where you got that from. |

| sry ret dont get it wrong. its not really complaining. im sorry if it looks like that. im just saying that the newswriters on every site. be it gg tl iccup etc pp should state and write it CORRECTLY. since its just a matter of how you put the words. im totally aware that its free streaming of probably really nice games and im also glad and thankful about the whole event/games. WHAT im critizising is that the newsposts should SAY that its a livestream comment about PRErecorded games since all the news up til now DEFINITLY left the impression that the games are LIVE casted as they are played, which is not the case (u can see that in the comments of pple posting here as well). of course pple/fans really stand behind the game and all the effort artosis/tasteless/sdm and the players put into it. but all those who are majorly involved in the process should also understand that there are fans and specactors outside who wish to watch games live and DO take time for that and sometimes plan their appointments or daily lives after certain events. though they wouldnt have to if there wouldnt be a lack of communication. and through that information asymetry certain pple get lead to waste precious time which they couldve organized better in some ways. and thats all what it all breaks down into. in the end its just my opinion into this matter. artosis or whoever edits news dont have to give a crap about it ;). so dont get personal offended about anything plz. its just a regular suggestion how things can be done (wether if its better or not is subjective). but well if we look into that in a professional way: it could be an improvement imo. and i guess regarding the development of streaming bw in general it should lead into a business/professional foundation for sc2 probably?! PS: im sry if i got those infos wrong about the streaming from u ret. i apologize since it was an assumption of mine from the start. but it doesnt change the fact how the whole event is planned to be run (meaning record then live comment). and ofc youre right it probably cant be done in another way since of laggissues. PSS: im not even sure if the newswriter is aware that those games are prerecorded and just casted live. in my personal opinion i do think that nearly everyone in the community really think that those are livegames and only the direct organizers and participants know that in fact those are not. |
