SK Gaming Recruits [NA]

SK Gaming has a large roster for a variety of eSports, including: Quake, FIFA, WC3, WoW, and Counter Strike. But now they can add one more title to their list, Starcraft.
French Clan 
Not Allowed has a phenomenal roster under their belt. Their players are located all over the world, and even include Chinese player 
Pj who took 2nd place at the WCG 2007. As a result, eSports titan, SK Gaming, has shown interest in the Starcraft scene and recruited 11 players from [NA] to compete in a multitude of offline and online tournaments in the coming months. Stephanie "Collide" Nguyen-Vinh, one of the new team managers, said in a recent interview that "we'll not only play Chinese and international tournaments like G-league, CEG, WCG, IEF, but we will also play in the Europeans leagues such as the BWCL, WGTCL and the Underground League." SK obviously has many resources and a great coaching staff, so hopefully [NA] will improve overall as a team and be able to dominate in more upcoming events!

Interestingly enough, many of the players won't even have to get off the couch as a result of the merger. Five of the Chinese players from
[NA] live under the same roof as it is. So while the managers are taking care of the paper work, these lucky 5 are just hanging out, eating Flamin' Hot Lays and drinking Mountain Dew (mOnion is jealous). Jokes aside, the fact that the players live together and train together on a constant basis really contributes to the team morale, and is sure to help the team do well overall, according to the team manager. Collide also said that the "interesting mix of European talents like; Ryko and Zazu mixed in with Chinese superstars like PJ and Super will be crucial for success in theses online tournaments. We hope to represent SK Gaming to the best of our ability both online and offline."

| Yeah, Xeris is possibly the most double standard having human being alive. Throughout his entire leading career he has low blowed, used cheaters/ex-cheaters, and everything else you can think of to win while trying to make himself look honest and have integrity. It's shambles. But, I do agree that [NA] is possibly the worst candidate, Bugg isn't a nuisance, there was no deception involved if you ask me. Same concept "the sky is purple" *look up* "no it's not." Anyway, I think Xeris has 2 motivations for his post, extreme jealousy that his team can't ever get anywhere at the top because he tries to be subtle about having mercenaries, and because he doesn't want chinese anywhere in the foreign scene, because no one does... one word "lag". |
| Losso who is unknow? all the chinese are well know, Crow Zazu and ryko too. I think you speak about Viper+Wave and Sparkles. Viper and Wave were in BW- and in SWE A together. Sparkles was MgZ) long time ago and in France A. I'm sure that if someone know pretty well the bw community he know them, excepted Sparkles maybe... @Walen: They seems to don't add Admins but only players. |
| so you say crow, ryko, zazu, viper, wave & sparkles are worthy of being in a professional team like SK? ok. yes i know half of them but they aren't even Div1 material (except maybe ryko for 2v2 and crow if he is very active) SK should have competition only against top top teams like fnatic & ESC. do you say these guys are good enough for that? (talking about the europeans of course) |
| #35 : thanks... As for french squad: Roger, Freman, rest and I are no longer [NA] so when an admin changes it to SK please remove us Zazu and crow would stand a chance in div1. I m pretty positive that Ryuk can put up a good fight (see ESI qualifiers against Fosc) and the 2v2 teams are strong. GL in SK! |
| Xeris i ve just read your post and i agree with the single answer that was given. Besides since I did make this interview for WGTour you could have at least given the link to the WGT news instead of the TL.net forum. But well since it s TL it s ok anyways (<3 guys) Anyways Bugg admitted and even conducted an interview about this situation, few players would have done so. Besides he is managing the squad, not playing it. This was an isolated incident. I ve known Bugg and i ve worked with him for some time now and he s a good admin. He wants his team to reach the top but he would not try to undermine another team to do so. [NA] became SK thanks to bugg and Collide, they didnt steal anyone s spot. As for the europeans we use check the CW results, they defeated several decent/good players. Give em time and they ll be monsters. You must know than within [NA] it s like a family, the chinese play with the europeans and teach some things too. It s not as if it were totally separated. SK is one team and not SC+europeans. As for Artosis I can understand why he s pissed and it s then fun to listen so it s ok :) Give SKgaming some time to prove itself |
| This is just sick... cant understand so many jealous ppls are in this community. Thx for all the nice comments about this, but the otherones, its sick.. u are like swedish ppls, u cant wish some ppls success in a great clan like SK becoz u dont have the chanse for your self to be in. Get mannerd, just say good luck and then its up to them to prove that they are good enough to be in SK. or not. |

| i hope not. It would be a very bad move. SK.starcraft deserves the right to play couple of games before being judged. A team is not just a bunch of top stars. You need a team spirit, less skilled players (they can improve), different nationalities (diffrent views/strats...) |

| I agree with xeris and artosis 100%. And Also Bugg is deeply retarded for doing this. How on earth do you get your team contracted without contacting your players first to make sure their contracts with former teams have expired?? Its funny that PJ and his colleagues had no idea that they were contracted by SK-gaming lol.. You see...crap like this makes other gaming organisations and companies think starcraft is just a joke. Because of people like Toad, Bugg and such other idiots who have no experience in the game or in managing whatsoever. Honestly its sad that SK-gaming didnt pick up the former MYM or even LRM. Those teams would have definitly held SK.SC to the top. Good job xeris and artosis for making a clear explanation to SK. And SK hopefully next time you want to open a sc squad you contact Artosis first and have him talk it out with u. |

| Artosis s great but not objective on the case, there is no link whatsoever between the spirit incident and this. | lol artosis just twisted the truth ( only chinese players were recruited for 1v1 and maybe crow and the rest 3-4 players for 2v2 ... why didnt he mention shit about it ? cuz he didnt do his homework and he was pissed like xeris and many others that they picked NA ,so he had good intentions making NA look bad :D ) and why so much trash talk for nothing ? dont u think this lineup can face any div1 team ? 1v1 Pj Chinattt Super Fengzi 2v2 Foreginer team made out of the 4 foreigners (ryko,zazu,viper,wave) and after some cws they could recruit any players o,o ??????????? |
| lol news. thank god they got dropped, because all it takes is 1 chinese player to leave, and then its like a dominoe effect, everyone leaves, then their left with no success at all in both 1v1, and lets be honest, 2v2 also. ryko and crow are good 2v2 players, but nah, i dont think div 1 standards to be winning week in week out .. funny how the retards are always from france.. elky is the only thing that france produced towards starcraft. if he wasnt so awesome, then france would be nobodys. |
