So this will make the ninth time then, awesome ha? ;) I'm really excited about this actually, I think that this event might actually be the best one this far, as always. The tournaments are gonna be awesome as well, a lot of foreign players participating, and most important, my Polish favorite StarCraft player is coming there too!!! Wai. MYM will be there, the old CDS will, and of course a lot of Swedish players whom I already know from before, (Candy for habbe if you win the tournament!) and a lot of people from the GosuCrew. We have a total of 15 people on spot, hosting the tournaments for DotA, WC and SC, as usual, and I'm really looking forward meeting up with all of you guys again, especially the new guys (edit: read: "the guys I have never met before") Amock, Usagi and Shadow! DreamHack will start for me tomorrow (Wednesday) around 7pm when I'm picking up Amock in the center of Gothenburg before my dad driving us (Again; yes, I know I'm spoiled.) to Elmia, Jönköping and DreamHack. We should be at Elmia, ready to unload the Volvo around 9.30-10.00pm. See you then! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Yup, here we are, again =) Today started down south, where I went with my mother, taking some time off before this event, but today I took a train from Laholm (you know it? no? not worth a check-up trust me.) and after a painful switch to a smelling bus in Gothenburg I arrived to Borås around 18.00 CET. silas- and Raistlin picked me up and we went directly to Åhaga to start gaming and newsing, at least that was what I thought. With more empty chairs than people at the lan, crew included, and still no switch for the Game Crew corner, I tried to find our people and get my computer up and running but when I as done with that and we finally got the switch the internet connection was very unstable. It took them a couple of hours but now its finally working properly, and the tournaments are up for registration. We had some issues with the DotA one, and they changed the prize sum, but others than that its all set for tomorrow when the tournaments start. Eating with Fragbites Lancia, GG-Brankan and Yllet from tbh.nu (kebab ofc) made me a bit more excited about the lan again after all the troubles with the internet, and as it works now, Raistlin and me have together with NastyNick and Gellie made some news for sc and dota. The motivation is back! Tomorrow when the GosuCam arrives we will have some pictures for you to look at here on the page, and I'll be back bloging as soon as I find the time and energy for it. Of course I'm talking about the news from Blizzard about the BlizzCon players. And that's about all I can say, WHY!? First of all, where is Bisu? Survivor is there, but where is the Protoss king? We have seen a lot of Bisu lately and even me who hardly ever see any replays can be caught watching his. As I said we have Savior, we have Iris, Xellos, Reach, we have YellOw and Nal_ra. Did they invite Bisu and he said no, or what is going on? I mean, all I hear all day is Bisu this, Bisu that, and when I finally look after him myself he's not there. Then there is the non-Korean players (all two of them ;P). This really disappoints me, as there first of all use to be four of them, and they usually pick four very good players we have all seen before. The first one is Testie, sure, a bit inactive but I can see why he is there, good guy (I have heard :P), great player. Him I get, he's in my list too. The second player though, is Skew the American. Ok, I must admit I have seen his nick before, but what has he won? I mean, sure maybe he's a great player and I don't know the guy really, but still. Is he one of the players any of you thought would be there? I am really looking forward to see if he can keep up with the Koreans on spot.
And why is all this? My guess is that a lot of players said no. I mean, it shouldn't cost them too much to get some European players, right? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Of the last few days that is :] I saw that I missed to write about the last days of DreamHack, which sucks, because those were the best ones I think. I really enjoy working hard and seeing the readers appreciate it is one of the nicest feelings there is. With a lot of help with the results and such we got all results up in news post asap and everything ran smoothly the last days. I took some pictures from the prize ceremony with the GosuCam and put them up as well (thanks Patrik for using your pro haxxor photo shop skills) and finally the last night was there and I got to sleep before leaving for the best part of this whole thing, the GosuGamers Crew Meeting ;D;D;D (GosuCrew Gathering, lol :) I woke up a little late, which caused that the guys who were suppose to take my computer and monitor back to Gothenburg so I didn't get to take them home by train myself later, left without it. Bitter as I am I'm not planning to forgive them anytime soon, I never wanna do what I did today again. (I took them home by train, by myself ;P) Mazor and Reveny left Jönköping at 9:00, after picking up Mazors girl (SazoR go!) and went to their parents ouse in Linköping, waiting for us to go to the meeting. cYan, LoC and Eresea left us about 11 or so, and after cleaning up the booth and where we had our computers hAxel drove Poddy to the train station while the rest of us layed on the ground with half the baggage on the parking lot and talked about the event. After packing it all in to the car the only one being able to move at all was hAxel, which was very lucky that he was driving. 5 people, 5 computers, 5 monitors, 5 peoples luggage and one big madras got into that car, and I really wished we had the camera there, cus it would have been soo much fun to show you guys how it looked :D Anyway, after about 2 hours of "I have never..." in the car (What happens in car, stays in car!) we were finally there, and we all helped out making some food before leaving to the Littke summer house in Solvik. When we arrived me, Patrik and Calle (Reveny) jumped into the lake almost the first thing, and after eating some sandwiches and drinking some tea we started feeling relaxed, at least I did. The first night we basicly played some card, had some beer and watched silas- (aka sillen) make a fool out of himself before all going to bed, some after over 40 hours awake. The following day we had a lot of fun, eating nice food for the first time in days, playing some more cards etc. Sadly Jacob (Genie), Sillen and hAxel left in the evening and we were only five left. We celebrated by going to buy some more food, and when I returned with candy and coke me, Patrik and Calle played some Monopoly. Calle won ^^ and Patrik managed to break his cellphone before dinner. Another game of Monopoly took place the following day, with Sara and Jonte too this time, and as it started to go worse for the boys, they got tired of it and went down to the lake instead, I guess Sara won, as I didnt have any money at all left in the end. :) Me and Patrik heated up the sauna after making a super Gosu guesbook entry in the houses guest book and counted the trips down to the lake mean while to three before getting too tired to stay any longer. Jonte did us some company, but disappeared after his first lake-run. After that we cleaned up, ate some and the guys cut down some trees that the Littke parents asked us to do while being out there, and after that we packed up in the car and for some reason we actually failed to run over any dears on the way home. I am not joking when I say there was at 3-4 dears after every tree and it took us 1:40 hours instead of just an hour to go home to Linköping where we stayed the night. Today we woke up kind of late, at least me and Patrik, who slept on the couch. We ate some breakfast, bought a train ticket for Patrik and packed up the car with our stuff again and went in to the centre of Linköping to leave me and Patrik on the train/bus home. And now I sit here, it took me some time to get here, but now I finally am home, and I just have to say, WOW. =) I already miss you guys, and I really hope that we can do this some other time, with more people maybe, to get to know more of the GosuCrew. Yup, Again then. Yesterday went by very quickly with all the things I had to do. I just have to brag about my 14 news posts and one big feature interview I've written here too :) Very proud of myself. The feature was the Team Team interview that I made with a lot of help from the DotA kids from the GosuCrew. Thank you for helping out and thanks to T_T for your time and the interview! After the interview was published, finally, Vilda was off to bed and slept for about ten horus. I woke up one our later than I expected and when I complained to the even hosts that were suppose to wake me up, they shown me that I actually ordered the waking one hour later than I thought. I guess I was tired :P After the StarCraft finals started I went on a short journey to Växjö (about 110 km down south) to see where I am spending the next three weeks this summer. It was nice, and <3Jitte for letting me stay there! The WarCraft final just started and I'm finally having a break, even if it is a short one =) I think I'll go get something to eat, and get back to you guys later. See you! Oh right, I was suppose to update this one :D After a awfully painful shower (it switches from cold to warm too quickly =() I'm back here at the GosuCrew's lair and apparently Reveny and Raistlin likes to get their asses kicked, cus they are at this moment losing (as far as I know) to some "noobs" according to Raistlin himself. Down in the big hall there was some weird looking/singing chick on stage who were suppose to sign autographs in some booth. Scary. And more scary was that Emerald apparently liked the music. Wow. It will be food for us soon, which is nice, because I did not eat very much today, so I guess I'll have to leave you guys again. And yes! datoby won the SC final, gw datapojken! And too bad ZpuX :[ We will hand out the prizes for DotA, WC and SC at 00:15 tonight, be sure to be there and watch it! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
