damn right i am!
Ha ha, you're irritatingly humble, i like that:) I reminds me of myself, i like to arouse people by bold or criticizing statements, it really gets the machinery going for both parties. It was supposed to be "users WONT pause with each..." and not "want pause".
As for creativity, i wouldn't define it as the whims of the mind. Rather something creating something new from all ready existing knowledge. It could be something "completely new", but that is seldom. Rather putting things/problems in a different context, making new connections between different subjects.
Its a hard topic to define, especially because the way i see it, creativity is deriving something from existing topics/subjects/experiences.
damn, it should be: "I'd say you still _have_ a lot to learn"Now that the most basic grammar is right lets get back to the topic.
What do you see as my second point? I wont make a long rant about anything that will be misunderstood.
(but presume its my second "part" of the first post?)
One thing that is one the most important yet overlooked points (by the general "scientific community") in science in general, and specifically in philosophy. _What is the question or problem at hand_
That is:
Your posts here on gg.net
The problem:
Trying to be more concise and thinking trough every question before jumbling a bunch of them in there.
As for you questioning the nature of different cases, that is the base of philosophy the way i see it. But an important task is seeing whats related and whats important. Being structured and following strict logical lines.
As for a definition of good philosophy, i dont think thats possible. Especially for me who know next to nothing about it. Im not trying to be an expert, but i do learn from people that has a good grasp on these things. So i have learned by babysteps whats "good" and not.
No i never said so, but if sophisms and relativizing arguments is your only take on philosophy, i'd say you still has a lot to learn.
Because most your questions and especially metaphors or examples are only vaguely related. And on an internet forum when you write ~10 questions users want pause with each single question but rather read it as an incomprehensible text.
Dude I just have to say, the philosophy stance isn't really working out for you recently. Seems to me you're running around the gg-net forums playing Socrates on Agora, but when you do it really doesnt work. Trying to inspire people to think is a noble quest but you're not doing it right/good enough. In stead of trying to type down all the questions that come to mind and being quasi-philosophical, i challenge you to summing up in a few, at most, questions. There's a long way between being a real philosopher and trying to seem like one... My two cents, hope this helps to improve you. Peace
