So the final race, as we've been told, is out. Once more Blizzard has let lose the Zergs on us, by watching SC news sites and stuff it looks like the SC2 hysteria is worst than ever, it is by far, one of the most anticipated games to ever be released, past and present. So why is the hysteria that much worse now, well it seems like the game is finally coming into completion with the Zergs, all three races is done, well atleast been presented to the public, with som beta testing by Blizzard and foremost the Korean Progamers. It looks like they, the Koreans, like what they have seen this far, and as always i belive that the foreign scene, the rest of us, is gonna follow in the footsteps of the SC:BW masters in Korea. If they like it, we will like it. Well, i am for sure gonna buy this game, ofcourse as stated above i will read what the Koreans and other gamers say and think about this game. Not that it will influence me that much in my decision what other people think, but it is fun to read. The biggest aspect in deiciding is, i think, that the first game has been around so long and still lives and will probably keep on living after SC2 is released. I don't think the original will die for a long time and it would be awesome to see the two games in competition at the same time. If that's possible, but i think no, it takes to much time playing one or the other to be competitive in both. I know that many people call SC2, WCIII in space, they could not be more wrong. The resemblance is not that big, i think that SC2 looks nothing like the, for example, fight scenes in WCIII. Sure it's 3D vision in both games, but the resemblance stops there, atleast in my eyes. So Blizzard, bring it on allready, whats the holdup ;) Until nex time... //TruE

Well, for starters i must say that it is the most balanced RTS game on the market, no wonder, it has been out since 1997. So why is it still here ? From what i have learned over the years, it is the fans that keep the game going on like it does. I think StarCraft has the most loyal fans ever on any game. The Progaming scene i think has the biggest share in what the game has become, it's really not a game, it's a lifestyle. Second to this is that the game has such a rich history and background story, if you have'nt read it i think you really should. It's a very nice and exciting history behind the different races, if you play the campaign and read the history you would understand more about the StarCraft universe, which in my opinion, is not a bad thing at all !!! You can find the 3 races different historys here: http://www.blizzplanet.com/content/399/ Third up, the StarCraft community sites like GG.net and others with their reports from different game leagues, interviews, lan:s, the progaming scene, replay libraries and so on keeps the interest within the community to a maximum. My personal belief is that the SC community has the best and most polite people in the whole gaming scene. Ofcourse, there is bad eggs even here but not in the same extension like other big online games. I think that about covers it !!! NOTE: This is my personal beliefs of what i think has made StarCraft to what it is today. Until next time... //TruE

So this is my first blog entry, i'm not gonna write about my life and the things that's going on there. I don't think anyone would give a crap anyway ;) So this is intended to be a game blog, and now you might wonder what i'm going to write about !?!?!? Well, all i can say is that the things i'm putting on display here is going to be what StarCraft is for me, my games, the scene and anything related that i find interesting and feel that i want to write about. For starters i can tell you that i have been involved with this game since about the year 2001, i'm not a good player or anything like that. I'm a member of a clan called BDC (Black Dragon Clan), where we play mostly for fun. I find the SC:BW scene very interesting, there is always a lot to read and learn about this game and the people around it, which is good fun, keep in mind how old it is. Until next time... //TruE
