Woke up around 13:00 today and really motivated to hit the ladder..I really don't know why I get motivated as soon as it's reseted..Its the same normal ladder, the same delay(yeah even tho im swedish ive like 1 sec at least), the same whining guys every game they lose, the hackers(are they gone? I don't think so) and the the skill quality is so much better in custom games. For me personally I like the competetive feeling as you get now when the ladder is new and fresh, you want to: 1. Get good stats(even tho the skill quality of the players is low more or less every good player plays the ladder) 2. The strat variation, you will never be one of the best players before you can counter the weird and surprising strats as good as the normal ones. And ofc 3. High rank!! Hey folks! I just woke up by someone knocking on my door. It was DHL with my new gaming-gear from Raptor!!!! So nice stuff ! I will connect it at once and start gaming! So as LilLD.C said in the post earlier we will public the blog and writing daily now. I had to take a break off from the computer yesterday after my horrible games against MTW even if Thorzain played really really good and the 2 vs 2 went good for me and LiiLD.C. But I’m still disappointed on my self because of my games against Eric and who. Game one against Eric I played good and had no problem to win. My second game I was a bit unlucky and my shadow hunter got stuck in the base which meant I had to cut down some trees to get it out. And that made my base open for harass which eric used well when he took down my burrow and warmill 2 times. Eric also bought the 2 healing scrolls which are important in bigger fights. So Eric pushed me with 50 pop and 2 scrolls and I couldn’t do much against it. Third and last game I wasn’t sure which map to play. I was thinking of TR or SV. But I decided SV since I practiced and my last ladderwin were at SV. I think that was the decision which made me lost the bo3. If I would’ve picked TR instead which I played more and are more secure on I think I wouldn’t lose the match. I know I am a better player than Eric and that doesn’t make the thing easier. But I will be ready for my next mirrormatch and will practice on my mistakes from these matches. My first game vs who were on SV too but I changed a bit in my strategy and things went a lot better. I managed to kill his level 3 blademaster in a really good time of the game. So I took the advantage to stab him since he was missing his blademaster. I managed to kill some units but not enough to take use of the advantage after I killed his hero. His hero came back after I killed the shop and a grunt. Things didn’t look so good for me anymore since I couldn’t kill as much as I expected. So he started to come back to game and then he made a hit and run at my base and he got to kill 3 burrows and some peons of me which gave him a lot of time. The last and big fight he won pretty easy with a bigger army and better items than my. So I took my favorite map in mirror TM. The early game was looking good for me and I killed 2 of his grunts and I didn’t any grunts. I went to the shop top of the map, I was spawning at the down-right and he to the down-left. I bought a scroll and had now level 3 blademaster and I can easily scout him. I ran down to the other shop too see if he was there since you often try to creep the shop because of the healingsrolls etc but he wasn’t there. So I thought I can creep it. Normally at this time of the game when you have level 3 blademaster 1 walker 1 raider the best option isn’t to creep its to stab the enemy and try to kill the shadowhunter. This was the mistake of the game and it made me taking a fight when his shadowhunter was almost level 3 and my where only level 2. If I would’ve stabbed him earlier things would look so much better. At least I learned from my mistakes and that’s what matters. I will now prepare for our next match against Mousesports. The Chinese and German team which FLY, th000 and Hasuobs. They will probably use th000 and fly in their solo games and in the 2vs2 Fly and Hasuobs. I will keep practicing and give my best for winning against mouz!!!
