Hey everyone! I'm creating this blog in order to share with you about the older Bulgarian generation. As you know, there was communism before. Some of elder people there still prefer it because (they say so): A. It was safer. Less crimes. B. Making a living was easier because the government forced all people to work. 0% unemployed ones. C. Cheap merchandise. D. Everyone gets free holiday thanks to the government. However, it wasn't all bright: A. Car? You had to wait 10 years in order to get it. B. Going abroad? No way but going to Russia. C. TV? Only Bulgarian and Russian TV channels. Also, there was a special day for only Russian TV. D. You say something bad about communism or the government? Well, prepare to be punished. E. Basically, everyone had to be like the rest. No unique people. I was born after communism, but that's what I've heard so far. Personally, I don't like it and I wonder why the older generation prefers it over democracy. Perhaps they're too used to the old regime. What I don't like is they still worship this bs in every possible case. Also, as far as I know, the country had to pay debts after all this "cool" stuff in order to happen. Which chat client do you prefer guys? Skype? MSN? ICQ? *IRC? Other? If you use only one of them, have you tried others? Thoughts? Personally, I used to use IRC, but I've switched to Skype. Actually, I use both Skype and MSN at the moment, but I find the former better and more comfortable. I also shouldn't avoid mentioning that you're able to call your friends... something that IRC and MSN don't support. | ||||||||||||||||||
