We are now finally close to what can be an end to the third season of the King of the Hill tournament. But first, the taciturned Spanish king  SuKeR must beat the talkative and experienced Canadian  Nal_Testie. It has already been a long season and if Testie keeps up his claimed winning streak versus Suker (9-1 in games lately) it might become even longer. There are a number of programs out in the community which have the job to detect maphack. Two of these are live programs which you use during a game. The programs are used in bigger tournaments and leagues and therefore is their functionally very important. But what if the programs did not register every hack there is? For a long time the Norwegian BroodWar society was almost dead. After  [GG99]Slayer and [GG8]sVEN@aBs had to do their military service Norway hasn't had any internationally succeeding players except for Eriador[pG], and of course aNc-Erling-. Although none of these have had such success as Slayer and sVEN, they still compete in the top of the world. So I asked my good friend iG.ErlinG for an interview.Note that since aNc has gone inactive, ErlinG is currently playing for iG. with the nick iG.Erling. | |

The long wait is over. The Swedish forces have finally made their way out of the meaningless peace time. The army is armed from top to toe and ready both physically and tactically. We've travelled far by transport units through the european seas and just arrived at the French east-, north- and westcoast in a surrounding attack. We're heading for Paris, controlling the capital is the key to success. Once unloaded from our dropships, we will engage combat immediately. | |

StarcraftGamers.com proudly present; 16 players, carefully chosen and invited are now about to compete in a league for glory and fame. THE CONCEPT IS SIMPLE 16 players divided into 4 groups where the top 2 advance. Every Monday 20.00 CET, 2 matches from every group will be played in a best out of three series. The winner gets a point, the loser gets none. WINNING MEANS REWARDING Every match played is counted as a win or a loss. After the first group stage, the player with most points will advance to the second group stage. Thereafter is a playoff waiting. OBEY THE RULES There are strict rules in this league and they are meant to be followed. If not, the players will recieve a warning, three warnings results in a kick out of the current season. EVERYONE HAS THE CHANCE When a season is done, a new one starts. Top 8 stays in the tournament, the rest have to re-qualify. But as the second season starts, everyone has the chance to join. Public preliminaries will be played as well as a number of preliminaries with invited players. LIVE RADIO Every week there will be a live shoutcast from one match. We choose the match we find the most interesting and make a full coverage using winamp shoutcast radio over the Internet. Latest information about the league with results are published at the site as soon as the matches are done. Replays will be uploaded the day after. | |
