Last year's StarLeague winner Jian "IefNaij" Fei Wang is only 29 points behind the German Zerg. He ended up winning the first Stamina tournament, placing bullets from Never, CaStrO, Dreiven, Smacker and Cloud in his armor. He also continues to stand as the reigning champion of the Liquibition, TeamLiquid's showmatch series.
A total of six Chinese players can be found in the current Top 30, with Luo "Legend" Xian ranked in third place. The Protoss specialist had a good run in January's PGL, managing to defeat all opponents but the tournament winner Orion. His position in the rankings is defined much from PGL, the same as for fourth, seventh and ninth players Oleksii "White-Ra" Krupnyk, Jun Chun "Pj" Sha and Eugin "Strelok" Oparyshev.
The latter mentioned was the previous first rank holder (back in December), but after a tough run in the PGL, Strelok dropped a total of 8 ranks. Only player the Terran defeated was Tyler "NonY" Wasieleski.
Strelok is, together with Pavel "BRAT_OK" Kuznetsov, Dmitry "A2" Demichev and Marius "HoRRoR" Overhageböck the only Terrans in the Top 30. Zerg players are heavily dominating with 14 players. Protoss, who has for long dominated the foreigner ranking, holds 12 players.
The team ranking is spread out over 17 teams, and as per usual, Templars of Twilight hold the first rank with 7 players. RoX-Gaming is split second with Chinese team S.C, and nGize and Los Reyes Del Mambo hold the third spot together with PurE.
