What made you decide to Create ToT
Mondragon:
I didn’t create it =)

But you are now the leader?

hehe yes ... ToT was founded by my brother and his friends ... and I was one of the first members

4.5 years ago

Wow! So did you just take it away from your brother or did he move on from bw?
Mondragon:
At the beginning we made it together, but later, he stopped playing BW. Sometimes he still plays, but BGH only =) I left ToT for 6 months, and in this time lazer lead the clan fantasticly

ToT was once just a German team correct?
Mondragon:
Yes it was.
Tarrou:
What made you go international?
Mondragon:
hmm I started with Claw.
He is one of the organizers for us. He had good contacts with International players.
Tarrou:
One question many gamers have asked and a question I have been meaning to ask you is how did you come up with ToT's name
Mondragon:
Hehe we came up to ToT because of the music we hear. There is a band called Blind Guardian. I Love it =) and we mixed the Name with it and BW. Like our irc channel - #Twilight-Hall =) Blind Guardian - Lost In The Twilight Hall. Download some songs of Blind Guardian 8D

What do you think is the strongest part of your team, meaning what keeps your team still alive for over 4 years?
Mondragon:
We have some members which are very good friends, also in real life. These members will never change the clan or something and because of that we are still alive =)
Tarrou:
Did you ever think ToT would be considered one of the best clans in Europe ?
Mondragon:
No I didn’t. I knew that ToT will be a good German clan, but that we are one of the best in Europe? Never...
Tarrou:
Well you are now after your recent defeat of pG 5-1 most gamers will agree ToT is #1 in Europe if not outside of Korea!
Mondragon:
I don´t think that we are better than pG, because pG had not played with all their "gosus"
Tarrou:
Did you expect to sweep pG like you did?
Mondragon:
No I didn’t expect that ... but their gamers weren’t their best ones =)
Tarrou:
Haha, yes but pG now has around 30+ members and part of a clan war is that you play with the members you have and it is not anyone’s fault that there "gosus" were not available they came to the clan war expecting to win and they lost ;(

Some of ToT was not there either

When it comes to a clan war your clan is only as good as its worst member and you sure showed pG how good ToT is.
Mondragon:
Hehe, some arrogance of some pG members ;)

So what is the next step for ToT?
Mondragon:
For ToT ... I think I can’t name the next step =) lets see what happen

Does ToT plan on competing at the pG Challenge and what do you expect from the players that do go?
Mondragon:
I think there will be some ToT’s on pG Challenge and I hope that someone will win something =)

I hope for many ToTs that they will go to Korea =) I think we have good chances with WiLLEt, Strafe, Ace, Ovvi =)

How do you feel about manner?
Mondragon:
manner is really important, but sometimes you are fucked and then you aren’t very mannered :p

When you hear the word gosu how do you define it?
Mondragon:
gosu is a person who plays very good and who is known by everyone

Excellent response. I think that sometimes people confuse manner with skill and one can be gosu but very bm.

yes, but real gosu players have good manner, I think

I don’t plan anything special. We are so much and nice members that we will ever be alive :D

Im not really player, i organize the clan and I'm searching for good players which will be intresting for ToT.

What do you look for when you are recruiting international players?
Claw:
its important that the guy is "good manner" and spend a lot of time with the other ToT guys..... and its too very important that the guy is skilled for sure. But if i look like at our internationals they are all from europe and the most of them understand German.... they are in a kind of "friendship" with us.
Tarrou:
yes that is all very important.

how did you end up in ToT ?

hm im ToT about 1.5 years brain and mondi invited me, I came to ToT there was a little "bad situion" at ToT not so much members no internationals

so what are your plans as tot organizer in the future?

hm maybe to get some more good players to ToT.... but in Europe its hard to make more. we just could try to play and win some big tournemants//leagues like WGT-Tour and BWCL.

not really, the community is watching us at wgtour and know our team!

I started like 3-6 months after SC realise, when I bought speakers to computer and could buy SC in same packet, friend recommended me the game
but I have had several breaks from bw, now last break was for 8 months :p

I wouldnt want to say that, SaFT had an incredible eye for the game, an eye that very few have. Even though I think he is some out of shape now.
