 The 2011 GosuGamers Awards are here and at first we will present to you this year's nominated players who managed to achieve alot this year. Five players were to be found that did better than most of the other great players out there, achieving more and being able to amaze the audience. Each players will be introduced below, with some of this year's achievements. Sziky: Sziky is a well known Hungarian Zerg who's playing for the Hungarian team sas. He has been a top Zerg for quite some while already and he came no shorter this year in demonstrating his skills by not only being the player with the best rating in the defiler.ru tournament series but also winning the KISL, which had a prizepool of $1500. He also managed to win the recent UED KotH #2 and perform great for the foreign team FAT) in the Korean ClanLeague. He is currently ranked first in the GosuGamers rankings with a huge lead to the second place. Ace: Ace is a fellow country man, Zerg and former sas. member of Sziky, now playing for UED_SL. Not to mention that he also has astounding results to offer. Getting to known for winning silver this year he managed to get second in both the ISL and the KISL (ISL2). Besides that he also came second in a $100 AoV KotH and placing well in numerous defiler.ru tournaments. Ace is placed third in the GosuGamers rankings at this point. Pro7ecT: The Russian Terran Pro7ecT just got back into StarCraft earlier in 2011 and started to kick ass pretty soon after by doing well in the defiler.ru tournaments. Many people were surprised by his performance and didn't know much about him when he placed in the top 8 in the second ISL. He also managed to come second in the Ribbon Revival and recently won the GosuCup Season 1. Pro7ecT is currently holding the 6th place in the GosuGamers rankings. Bakuryu: Another Zerg, this one being from Germany and known as the mustache Zerg. This year he managed to get the best individual score in the first season of Gambit Cup. Besides that he made it into the top 32 in the first ISL and the top 8 in the second ISL (KISL). Exceptionally well performance was also seen in the defiler.ru tournaments and managed to get into the top 8 of GosuCup Season 1. He is ranked 12th in the GosuGamers rankings as of right now. Michael: The US-American Zerg Michael gave loses to most of his opponents in his Nationwar and Clanwar matches, but besides that he also managed to place in the top 32 and the top 16 in the two ISL tournaments. Great performance was also shown in the defiler.ru tournaments and the first UEDGaming KotH. Michael came second in the GosuCup Season 1 and won the Twitch.TV KotH. Michael's current GosuGamers ranking rank is #2.
