Most Blizzard Interview's are short and give little or no information. This one is different. This interview by Rob Fahey of one of Blizzard's top wigs, Paul Sams, has a ton of information.
Paul Sams is the vice president of business operations at Blizzard Entertainment and he was interviewed by the editor of GamesIndustry.biz, Rob Fahey. Apparently the massive success had Paul Sams in a good mood which is reflected in this interview. It is long, the replies are 'less' guarded and it actually offers some feedback to us fans as opposed to the usual constipated Blizzard replies that we have seen in past interviews and press releases.
The interview has many interesting details in the logistics of WoW and I am glad that Blizzard will not ignore the Chinese market. In fact its shear size has them a little nervous specially considering their European success. Game developers all over the world are slowly but surely realizing were the main bastion of online gaming will be in the future: China.
