KeSPA: June 2005

[s]korea[/s]

The month of June has begun, and a fresh set of KeSPA progamer rankings have arrived with it. Familiar faces fill the top 10, and in fact only one new person has made the prestigious list.

julyzerg.jpgLast month, South Korea JulyZerg (photo) made a historic move by becomming the first zerg to truly separate himself from the rest of the pack at the top of the KeSPA progaming ladder. He opened up an astounding 190.5 point lead over second place South Korea iloveoov. Amazingly, this lead has stayed exactly the same, and the young zerg superstar remains 190.5 points away from the rest of the best.

The top 30 is as follows:

Hello to Iris, fairwell to Zeus

The well known player South Korea Zeus has once again fallen below the top 30, after resurfacing last month at number 29. Taking his place is the up and coming terran player South Korea iris[gm] from the famous pro team Greatest One, or GO. Iris has been doing very well recently, and should be able to further ascend, with fewer than 50 points separating him from 20th place.

NaDa's domination - over?

nada.gifAfter sitting on top of the progaming world for many months, the amazing terran player South Korea [ReD]NaDa (photo) was overtaken by South Korea iloveoov. Now, his fourth spot has been overtaken by South Korea GoRush and his zerg. Could it be the beginning of the end for arguably the most dominant player ever, or will he soon resurface to reclaim his place at the top? If the last two months are any sort of pattern, July could prove to be a major obstacle in any player's path to number one.
