After months of being number one, German player Mondragon steps down and Ukraine's son Strelok has taken up the throne. Explore the rankings as GosuGamers gives you a breakdown of what happened this month.

The Top 5

This month's top five has changed, but the faces have remained the same. On top of the rankings now is 'The Warship' Strelok, taking the spot from Mondragon (now second place) who was probably getting too comfortable in his position. Strelok has proven he is capable of keeping this spot, but only time will tell for sure as anything can happen.

Coming in third is the newest MeetYourMakers recruit, IefNaij, winner of the TSL and one of the fastest rising foreigners to date. Despite dropping a rank this month, JianFei has shown he is an extremely effective killing machine and will be difficult to budge from his spot. Rounding out the top five is Polish favorite, Draco, who has been inactive since his second-place finish in TSL, and White-Ra, the veteran player from Ukraine.

Meeting The Makers

Dominating the rankings this month is the Danish based MeetYourMakers clan with a total of eight representatives on the rankings, including three out of the top five spots. Including Arew, who debuted this month in tenth, they almost take up half of the top ten as well. Tied for second place with four members each is Portuguese team Excello and Team Rox from Russia.

Poland dominates for another month

In what may be considered the most skilled Starcraft country outside of Korea, Poland brings us a total of six players to the rankings this month, with fan favorite Draco leading the pack in fourth place. Also to be noted this month is the rise of the Ukraine, with RoX team member ALF holding onto thirtieth place another month. In what is mostly a mixed bag of several nations in the rankings, Ukraine and Poland dominate with an incredible pool of talent.

Overall...

July provided us a good shakeup within the rankings. In fact, twenty nine of the thirty either gained or lost a position, and we have five new faces ready to show they have it within them to stay on top. Will Strelok be able to continue his reign on top? Will Mondragon be able to reclaim it? Will it be IefNaij or perhaps White-Ra to take over? Join us in August when we find out!

I think the rankings are pretty close to the real shape of foreign players.
Good work.

But chinese players shouldnt be in these list, or at least the ones who arent playing for foreign teams/leagues.
I cant understand why PJ, rushgoon and chinatttt arent in there.
It doesnt make sense to me to add a few games of them, while they have nothin to do with our tournaments.

why arent Artosis and Idra in the rank, I bet they could be over many ppl on this list, at least in the top 10

#21 Raistlin (GosuCrew) 36
Because they haven't played in any of the tournaments/leagues that are added to the ranking.

#31 get.yourgun 8
I could make examples, but I mean there are just so many like, for one Arew is and LoWely is at #10 and #11 and they are new? It's is no good, I'm just being critical here and I dont think it is uncalled for~~.

no doubt Strelok is good, but this ranking mean nothing in term of skill lvl. We all know that even as no.1 in GG ranking Strelok would propably get destroyed by Draco, LX, PJ who are below him.

#41 synergis (GosuCrew) 8
But CURRENTLY he is 1st. Remeber that there will be next ranking next month. You can have a better view on skill by comparing a couple of rankings (3, 5 or more)

I think that this ranking is getting better and better while more and more games are added. Even though not all matches are included I still find it interesting and it gives me a hint of the performance of the current top foreigners in the world.
