The French DotA scene has a lot of DotA teams but only few that are worth mentioning. Only four teams have achieved to rise up and remain constant with the passage of time. Let's check them out!

The best team at the moment in France was founded a year ago and is called Mojawi (aka aAa). They have had a lot of success in the past and they continue to be amongst the best teams in Europe. They have been champions of the French Argh League for the last four seasons (9th - 10th - 11th - 12th) and they managed to finish 4th in Esl Major Series VI. They also conquered the 4th place in Eswc French Qualifiers 2009/2010 and this year they have been placed 5th in the 1st category of Pick League. At the moment they are at the Razer Global Challenge group stage (Group M) and they also are in the finals at Kode5 where they will face the winner of the match Os|One vs Pentia. Feel free to support them at their mirc channel: Mojawi.dota@quakenet.

Mojawi's roster consists of seven players:

Antoine ''Dhany'' L'Hotellier (Captain/ Support)

Eric "R4gn4rox" Lor (Carry)

Manuel "Todo" Fernades (Roaming/ Semi carry/ Carry)

Thibaud "Amyga" Oiffer (Roaming/ Semi carry)

Yoan "Maldejambes" Stum (Support/ Roaming/ Semi carry)

Marc "Rollmops" Fontana (Carry)

Victor "Luciqno" Jolivet (Manager).

The second best team in France is Cyber Soft (aka Xeo.Fr, xFz.Fr,Tribal.Fr). They were founded back in May 2009 and they have also had a lot of success up till today, especially in LAN tournaments. They placed 3rd, 2nd, 3rd and 2nd in the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th season respectively in the last four seasons of Argh League. They were champions at Azerty Party 12 a LAN tournament that took part back in 2009, champions in Eswc France Qualifiers 2009/2010 and also champions once again in Anjougame 9 a LAN tournament that was held in France in 2010. They can be found at the 9th place at division 2a of Pick League. At the moment they’re at the Razer Global Challenge group stages (Group O). Support them at their mirc channel: #CBS.dota@quakenet.

CyberSoft's roster consists of six players:

Marc "Margeta" Lapostolle (Captain/ Roaming/ Support)

Pierre-Baptiste "Ph0eniix" Petiet (All rounder)

Guilhem "Neosia" Borie (Roaming/ Support)

Remi "Combal" Le Meur (Carry)

Patrick "Yogourt" Rossire (All rounder)

Titouan "S0cks" Merloz (Semi carry)

The spot for the third best team in France is shared by two teams, the French team 3DMAX (aka Div) and the Chinese team Akatsuki.

3DMAX was created in January 2009 and it seems to be going very well up until today. They were placed 6th at the last season of Argh League and they managed to take the 3rd place in the Eswc French Qualifiers. They are sitting on the 3th place in Division 2a of Pick League and it’s the only French team that accomplished to pass both the Razer Global Challenge and Mym Pride Defending group stages (Group D and E respectively). Support them at their irc channel: #3dmax.dota@quakenet.

3DMAX's roster:

Guillaume "Goblin" Barbe (Captain/ Carry)

Anthony "Jesus_Quintana" Apostolov (Semi carry/ Roaming)

Raphael "Popo" Itah (Roaming/ Support)

Arnaud "Mouse" Carriere (Roaming/ Support)

Remi "Thon_Mayo" Le Gars (Roaming/ Support)

Team Akatsuki was founded in April 2010 by a group of friends from China who lived in Paris, but they didn’t manage to have any important success up until now. They are 1st in Division 2b of Argh League and they’re the second team who manages to qualify for both the Razer Global Challenge and the Mym Pride Defending group stages (Group A and D respectively).

Akatsuki's roster:

Shan "Itachi" Jili (Captain/ Support)

Cai " Zetsu" Zhicai (Support)

Shou "Sasori" Long (Semi carry)

Cai "Kisame" Zhiyue (Roaming)

Xiang "Madara" Binbin (Carry)

Jin "Dedara" Rongwei (Semi carry)

That’s all about the French DotA scene!

P.S. "We have to buy a brain for Combal." - Ph0eniix.

P.S #2 "Shoutout to Dutch_Freak because I didn’t succeed in pissing without my hands!" - Goblin.

- Add a http:// or a [url ] tag for the links.
- Then add some clan logos.
- For the channels just #clanname . All use Qnet anyway.
- Add some replays.
- Add logos of the league banners etc.

But overall an awesome work !!!

#5 most dota players are allrounder. I can fit into any role given to me :) Even pusher can play carry type heroes at pub games. There he owns totally.

I still miss srs, they were really cool, mannered and skilled enough to be in the top tier, too bad they disbanded.

About the blog, it's really cool, looking foward to other countries!

Sup, nice article.

Just a few fixes : Tribal is now CBS (#CBS.DotA), I'm the team captain, and this year aAa and tribal were even on the french stage since we beat them on LAN and drawed them online :)

Also : I didn't know 100kpm joined 3DMax ! I thought he only played as a standing for them in some games !

Keep up the good work !
