Ghost: Trailer and Screenshots

After months with no major updates to the StarCraft: Ghost website, Blizzard has released a new trailer and screenshots, which showcase the changes the new developers from Swingin' Ape Studios have made.

After watching the trailer and looking at the screenshots, I can say that it appears that significant progress has been made, both in graphics and in gameplay. The graphics are much smoother and less jagged, with much more detail. You can see the roundness on most surfaces, instead of the jagged ploygons. It really looks like Swingin' Ape is pushing the envelope, despite having to work with console hardware which is already a few years old.

The gameplay looks like a great combination of action and stealth, and has diverse settings. The maps seem to be combinations of both indoor and outdoor areas, with lots of chances to use vehicles. You can drive and a tank and shoot at the same time, or land a dropship on top of a the factory in the capture the base mode. You can get into marine suits, crawl through vents, and even zipline - there is lots of environmental interaction.

The trailer is of actual gameplay, so what you see is what you'll get in-game. Go and enjoy!
