Fans may have noticed there has been a relatively low amount of replays coming from DotA Pride lately due to the inactivity of the league. But now, DotA Pride is set to make a comeback with a brand new sponsor.

Due to some issues arising with the original DotA Pride hostbots, players chose to play on the rival league EEDL instead. That is all about to change as the founder of DotA Pride is proud to announce the backing of Nirvana.GiGa as their new sponsor. Under the sponsorship, Nirvana.GiGa will be providing the prize money for each DotA Pride season along with some new hostbots for the players.

DotA Pride will now move all its operations over to the newly announced Nirvana.GiGa website which can be found here. Each season of DotA Pride will still last for 60 days and the prize money for DotA pride will be $150, $100 and $50 to the first, second and third ranked players of each Season respectively.

GosuGamers have also gathered an exclusive statement from both parties regarding the new sponsorship.

Statement from Samuel "DarthBotto" Horton, Editor-in-Chief for Nirvana.GiGa:
-"It is with great gratitude that we welcome the good people of DotA Pride to the up and coming organization Nirvana.GiGa, which gladly supports their efforts. With individuals from one of the world’s greatest DotA supporters sharing our vision, as well as web portal, we will expand our horizons beyond a simple eSports team to an expanding community with great promise. We encourage all DotA Pride enthusiasts to visit our forums and become acquainted to our new, united environment. We wish the best to our partners inhabiting our web portal and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."

Statement from George "Abby" Grecos, Owner of DotA Pride:
