PUBG PC 1.0 Update Adds In Two New Weapons, Vaulting and More

Update: PTR Servers are now live!

 

With PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds getting more and more popular with every passing day, it seems as if the developers want the game to cope up with its increasing popularity. Hence, Bluehole Studios is set to bring in a number of new changes into the game including the introduction of two all-new guns, weapon sights and a lot more.

Over the past few weeks, there has been hearing quite a lot of information coming from Bluehole Studios regarding the future of PUBG. In this, the developers have talked about the different features, they want to bring in PUBG in its years to come. However, with the game’s Xbox One release just around the corner, the developers are trying out more and more changes with PUBG’s PC PTR servers.

As a result, with the third update making its way to the test servers, Bluehole Studios is set to bring in tons of brand new features along with a number of different nerfs and buffs. According to the announcement, two new weapons will be coming to PUBG’s PC test servers this week. The two new weapons include 7.62mm 47-round pan magazine light machine gun, DP-28 and the bull-pup assault rifle variant, AUG A3. Vaulting is also introduced, allowing players to finally climb over fences and other obsticles while running.

The developers are also bringing in sights for some additional weapons in the game. This includes the new 4x reticle for 7.62 mm weapons, snipers, and SMGs. In addition to these, a few other visual changes are being implemented which includes a blur effect on the outside of scopes and distance markings.

All of these upcoming changes and additions are set to go live for the PTR servers on the PC this week. However, players will only be able to test out these features in the NA, EU and Asia regions. So, if you are one who wished to try out these coming features first-hand, then here’s is your chance. Check out the test schedule below:

 

  • PST: November 21st 11:00 PM - November 23rd 11:00 PM
  • CET: November 22nd 08:00 AM - November 24th 08:00 AM
  • KST: November 22nd 04:00 PM - November 24th 04:00 PM
